No bar in the Village puts UFC in writing
Where you should watch UFC in the West Village is a harder question than it looks, because not one sports bar in the neighborhood names UFC on its own website, ours included. What we can give you is arithmetic: every card left in 2026 against the Saturday hours at 118 Christopher Street, and the nearest bars that do promise the fights.

A bar needs a commercial license to show a UFC card, so the bars that advertise fights are the ones most likely to have the card you want. We read the websites of the West Village sports bars on September 18, 2026 looking for the word UFC and did not find it once. That does not mean nobody shows the fights. It means that if you want to watch UFC in the West Village you are going to have to telephone, and this page tells you who to call and what to ask.

To watch UFC in the West Village, call first: no sports bar in the neighborhood names UFC on its own website. The Beer Garage at 118 Christopher Street suits afternoon cards, prelims and most 8:00 PM ET main cards, with a Saturday close of midnight on its website. Down the Hatch at 179 West 4th Street publishes a 4:00 AM close. For a written promise, Clinton Hall at 16 West 36th Street and Clara’s at 393 Second Avenue both advertise UFC.
The West Village kitchen at 118 Christopher Street is a standard kitchen and makes no gluten-free claim. UFC.com listed six more events for 2026 when we reread it on October 18, 2026, and all six are in the table. The Friday, December 11 event in Cardiff that it showed on October 12, with no fights announced, was no longer listed. Main card times are from those listings, converted to Eastern Time. The minutes column is arithmetic: the gap between the main card start and the midnight Saturday close on the beergarageny.com footer. Our Google listing shows a 2:00 AM Saturday close, which would add 120 minutes to every row; until the two agree, plan around midnight. UFC does not publish when a main event starts or ends, so neither do we.

The November 21 card in Doha is listed as UFC Fight Night: Prochazka vs Stirling, with prelims at 10:00 AM ET and the main card at 1:00 PM ET. That makes it a daytime card: the prelims start before we open at 12:00 PM on Saturdays per our website, so only the main card fits our hours. Start times can change, so check UFC.com in the week of the card.
West Village sports bars and what they say about UFC
We read four West Village sports bar websites on September 18, 2026. None of them mentions UFC, boxing or pay-per-view. “Not named” means exactly that: the site does not say, so the only way to know is to call.

To be fair to the others: Houston Hall publishes the biggest screens in the neighborhood, and Down the Hatch publishes the latest close, which for a 9:00 PM ET main card is the fact that matters most. If either of them tells you on the phone that the card is on, they are a better room for a late main event than we are.
The nearest bars that do name UFC
If a written promise matters more to you than being able to watch UFC in the West Village itself, two Manhattan bars we read on September 18, 2026 name UFC on their own sites. Neither is in the West Village, and we did not measure the trip to either.
Clinton Hall 36th Street, 16 West 36th Street, Midtown. Its UFC page calls it “the best place to watch UFC in NYC” and describes large-screen TVs, surround sound and live UFC screenings, with reservations online. The page does not list hours or a cover.
- Best for a numbered card with a group, because you can book.
- Skip if you want to stay below 14th Street.
Clara’s, 393 Second Avenue, Gramercy. Lists UFC among the sports it shows and publishes hours of 3:00 PM to 2:00 AM Monday to Friday and 12:00 PM to 2:00 AM on weekends.
- Best for a 9:00 PM ET main card with a published 2:00 AM close.
- Skip if you need a screen count; its site gives one for its Brooklyn room, not this one.

UFC 334 at Madison Square Garden, from Christopher Street
UFC 334 on Saturday, November 14, 2026 is the only card in New York this year. UFC.com lists early prelims at 5:00 PM ET, prelims at 7:00 PM ET and the main card at 9:00 PM ET. If you plan to watch UFC in the West Village that night, it is a good place to start and a risky place to finish.
The useful geography: the Christopher St-Stonewall station is three minutes on foot from our door, and the 1 train runs from there to 34 St-Penn Station, underneath the Garden. If you have a ticket, eat here first. If you do not, the arithmetic for our room is 180 minutes from the main card start to the midnight close on our website, and the whole city will be looking for a screen. Book Clinton Hall, or call Down the Hatch and ask, and do it early.
UFC at The Beer Garage West Village
The Beer Garage West Village is a narrow brick room at 118 Christopher Street with a long blue lit bar, 37 beer and cider lines and a heated backyard garden behind the building. Of our two rooms it is the better one for fights, for one reason: it closes later than Park Slope does, which is most of what matters when you watch UFC in the West Village on a Saturday night.

- Best for UFC 333 on October 24 (2:00 PM ET main card), the November 21 Fight Night main card (1:00 PM ET), prelims on any Saturday except November 21, and most 8:00 PM ET main cards.
- Skip if you need a written promise that the card is on, a gluten-free kitchen, or a guaranteed seat for six.
- Possible downside this is a small room with no published screen count, no published fight schedule and no booking link. On a big Saturday the bar rail fills first and the garden second. Call 646-490-4301 if you are more than four people.
Alcohol service in New York is governed by the New York State Liquor Authority, and everyone drinking needs valid identification showing they are 21 or over. Please drink responsibly, and plan the ride home before a main event that runs late.
