If you are working out where to watch NFL football in Manhattan, the first question is not which bar is biggest. It is which bar your team’s fans already fill every Sunday. This guide sorts the borough by team, lists the kickoff windows, and shows where our own West Village bar fits. For the full city picture, including Brooklyn, see our guide to watching NFL football in New York.

Short answer

The best place to watch NFL football in Manhattan is the bar your team’s fan club calls home: Penn 6 for the Bills, Kettle of Fish for the Packers, Printers Alley for the Steelers, Tir na nOg Times Square for the Patriots and Haswell Green’s for the Browns, with big multi-screen rooms for everything else.

Giants and Jets fans have no single home bar in Manhattan, so any neighborhood sports bar with sound on works. See the full team table.

When are NFL games on in 2026?

NFL games in 2026 kick off in six regular windows, all in Eastern Time, which is Manhattan’s local time. The season opened on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, runs 18 weeks, and ends with Week 18 on Saturday, January 9 and Sunday, January 10, 2027. Super Bowl LXI is on Sunday, February 14, 2027, at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, on ESPN.

Source: NFL Communications 2026 schedule release and NFL.com, read September 17, 2026. Sunday afternoon networks vary by week; check your game’s listing.
Window Kickoff (ET) Where it airs Typical final whistle (ET)
Thursday Night Football 8:15 PM Prime Video about 11:30 PM
Sunday early 1:00 PM Regional broadcast; out-of-market games on NFL Sunday Ticket about 4:15 PM
Sunday late 4:05 PM or 4:25 PM Regional broadcast; out-of-market games on NFL Sunday Ticket about 7:30 PM
Sunday Night Football 8:20 PM NBC about 11:35 PM
Monday Night Football 8:15 PM ESPN / ABC about 11:30 PM
Saturday (Weeks 17 and 18) 1:00 PM, 4:30 PM, 8:00 PM Peacock / NBC, Netflix, ESPN / ABC varies

Three dates break the pattern. Thanksgiving has three games on Thursday, November 26 (CBS at 1:00 PM, FOX at 4:30 PM, NBC at 8:20 PM ET), plus a Wednesday night game on Netflix the evening before. Black Friday has a 3:00 PM ET game on Prime Video. Christmas Day has two games on Netflix, at 1:00 PM and 4:30 PM ET.

Times can still move. Under the NFL’s flexible scheduling rules, Sunday Night Football can be changed up to twice in Weeks 5 to 10 and in any week from 11 to 17, and Monday games can be flexed from Week 12. Check the game time again on the Tuesday before you plan a night out.

Key takeaways

  • Sunday at 1:00 PM and 4:25 PM ET is when fan bars are fullest, so if you watch NFL football in Manhattan on a Sunday, arrive early for popular teams.
  • Out-of-market games need NFL Sunday Ticket, which is sold through YouTube TV and YouTube, so ask the bar before you go.
  • Night games finish around 11:30 PM ET, so check the bar’s closing time, not just its opening time.

Where to watch NFL football in Manhattan, team by team

A Manhattan NFL fan bar is a bar that a team’s organized New York fan club, or the bar itself, names as its home for game days. These rooms fill with one team’s jerseys, show that team’s game with the sound on, and tend to reserve space for club members first. The table lists only bars confirmed on the bar’s own website or the fan club’s official page.

Sources: each bar’s own website or the named fan club page, read September 17, 2026. Walk times are straight-line estimates from the nearest named subway hub. “Not published” means the source does not say.
Team Bar Address Neighborhood Who names it Sound or screens
Buffalo Bills Penn 6 132 W 31st St Midtown, near Penn Station NYC Bills Backers club site Not published
Buffalo Bills The Rutherford W 33rd St and 8th Ave Midtown The bar’s own Bills page “Multiple” screens, live DJ
Buffalo Bills The Winslow 243 E 14th St East Village The bar’s own Bills page “Many big screens”
Green Bay Packers Kettle of Fish 59 Christopher St West Village The bar’s own Packers page Sound on all TVs
Pittsburgh Steelers Printers Alley 215 W 40th St Midtown, Theater District The bar, as Steelers Nation NYC home Not published
Pittsburgh Steelers Hibernia 401 W 50th St Hell’s Kitchen The bar’s own Steelers page 6 HDTVs and a projector
Philadelphia Eagles Wogies 39 Greenwich Ave and 44 Trinity Pl West Village and Financial District The bar’s own site Not published
Philadelphia Eagles The Laurels 231 2nd Ave East Village The bar’s own site Sound on the big screen
New England Patriots Tir na nOg Times Square 315 W 39th St Midtown Patriots official fan club registry Not published
Miami Dolphins Slattery’s Midtown Pub 8 E 36th St Murray Hill DolfansNYC club site Not published
Cleveland Browns Haswell Green’s 240 W 52nd St Midtown, Theater District Big Apple Browns Backers, July 2026 post Holds 300 or more

Two house rules are worth knowing before you go. Big Apple Browns Backers says doors open 90 minutes before kickoff and that opposing fans, Steelers fans included, are not admitted. The Patriots club listing puts its usual turnout at about 100 fans per game. If your team plays one of these clubs, pick a neutral room instead.

Where to watch the Giants and Jets in Manhattan

Giants and Jets fans who want to watch NFL football in Manhattan can use almost any sports bar in the borough, because both teams’ games air on local New York broadcast and cable channels rather than needing NFL Sunday Ticket. That is the honest reason neither team has one dominant Manhattan home bar the way out-of-town clubs do. Both teams play home games at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

Sources: the NFL’s official by-week schedule pages, read October 20, 2026, and Giants.com and NewYorkJets.com 2026 schedules, read September 28, 2026 and checked again on October 19, 2026. Networks are as each team lists them.
Date Team Game Kickoff (ET) Network
Sunday, October 25, 2026 Giants at Texans 1:00 PM FOX
Sunday, October 25, 2026 Jets vs Dolphins 1:00 PM CBS
Sunday, November 1, 2026 Giants Bye week No game No game
Sunday, November 1, 2026 Jets vs Raiders 1:00 PM FOX
Sunday, November 8, 2026 Giants at Eagles 1:00 PM FOX
Sunday, November 8, 2026 Jets at Chiefs 1:00 PM CBS

Two of these dates clash with fan-club rooms. On October 25 the Jets host the Dolphins, so Slattery’s Midtown Pub will be a Dolphins room, and on November 8 the Giants visit Philadelphia, so Wogies and The Laurels will be Eagles rooms.

Big Manhattan sports bars that publish a screen count

If you want to watch NFL football in Manhattan with every game on at once, choose a large room that publishes its screen count. Most Manhattan bars do not publish one, so only two made this table, and our West Village bar is listed on the same terms.

Sources: each bar’s own website, read September 17, 2026. The Beer Garage row is highlighted because it is ours, not because it ranks first.
Bar Address Neighborhood Screens (as published) Sunday Ticket stated
The Bowery Beer Garden 93 Bowery Chinatown, Lower East Side 50 or more Not stated
Smithfield Hall 138 W 25th St Chelsea 26 inside, 8 outdoors Yes
The Beer Garage West Village 118 Christopher St West Village Not published (multiple large screens) Ask the bar

Smithfield Hall wins this table for a fan who wants a guaranteed out-of-market game, because it states both a count and Sunday Ticket on its own site. We do not publish a screen count yet, and that is a fair reason to call us before you come for a specific game.

Watching NFL football in the West Village

The West Village is one of the easiest Manhattan neighborhoods for an NFL Sunday, because two team bars and a neighborhood sports bar sit within a few minutes of each other along Christopher Street and Greenwich Avenue. Kettle of Fish hosts the Packers, Wogies hosts the Eagles, and The Beer Garage at 118 Christopher Street shows the wider Sunday slate. For kickoff-by-kickoff detail, read our West Village NFL guide.

The Beer Garage West Village

Our scores, using the method below: Team fan culture 4/10 · Screens published 3/10 · Food for a full game 7/10 · Outdoor space 9/10 · Late night game coverage 5/10

The Beer Garage West Village is a garage-themed neighborhood sports bar with darts, rotating local craft beer on tap and a heated backyard garden. It is not a single-team bar, which suits a mixed group or a fan whose team has no Manhattan club.

  • Best for: mixed groups, Giants and Jets fans, and anyone who wants the garden between games.
  • Skip if: you want a room full of one team’s fans; go to that team’s bar in the table above.
  • Possible downside: our published hours disagree with our Google listing, so a night game may run past closing. Call first.

How we built this guide

We built this guide to where to watch NFL football in Manhattan from primary sources only, read on September 17, 2026. Kickoff windows, networks and flex rules come from the NFL’s own 2026 schedule release and its flexible scheduling page. Each fan bar was confirmed on the bar’s own website or the fan club’s official page; two bars that appear in roundups, one listed for the Saints and one for the Bears, were left out because no primary page confirmed them. Walk times are straight-line estimates, not timed walks, and our own scores on a 10-point scale reflect only what each bar publishes.

What bar do Bills fans go to in NYC?

Bills fans in Manhattan gather at Penn 6, 132 West 31st Street near Penn Station, which the NYC Bills Backers club names as its home bar. The Rutherford near West 33rd Street and The Winslow on East 14th Street also promote themselves as Bills bars on their own websites. It is about a four-minute walk from Christopher St-Stonewall station on the 1 train, and a short walk from The Beer Garage at 118 Christopher Street.

Do Manhattan bars show every NFL game?

Not every Manhattan bar shows every NFL game. Smithfield Hall in Chelsea states it on its website. For any other bar, call ahead and name the game you want to watch.

The Beer Garage does not offer a gluten-free kitchen in Manhattan; its West Village kitchen at 118 Christopher Street is a standard kitchen. The Beer Garage Park Slope, at 148 5th Avenue in Brooklyn, runs a 100 per cent gluten-free kitchen and shows NFL games. Anyone with celiac disease should still ask staff about their own needs before ordering.

What time do NFL games start in New York?

NFL games in New York start at 1:00 PM and 4:25 PM ET on Sundays, 8:20 PM ET on Sunday nights, 8:15 PM ET on Monday nights and 8:15 PM ET on Thursday nights in 2026. Some late Sunday games start at 4:05 PM ET, and flexible scheduling can move games, so recheck times during the week of the game.

Final verdict

For an out-of-town fan, the right place to watch NFL football in Manhattan is your own team’s fan bar, because nothing else matches the crowd and the sound. For Giants, Jets or mixed groups, pick a neighborhood bar close to home; in the West Village, we would be glad to see you at 118 Christopher Street, as long as you call first for a night game.
