Game Day · Manhattan · NFL · Updated October 19, 2026
Of the Manhattan sports bars we checked, three write “NFL Sunday Ticket” on their own websites. The rest promise every game without saying how.
An out-of-town fan in Manhattan has one question on a Sunday morning: which bar will have my team’s 1:00 PM game? No one publishes a list of the bars that buy Sunday Ticket, so on October 19, 2026 we read the bars’ own sites and copied what each one actually claims.
- About 55 Manhattan bar websites read October 19, 2026
- Three name Sunday Ticket on their own pages
- Walks timed from 118 Christopher Street
- Team bars for the Packers, Steelers and Bills
- A heated backyard garden at 118 Christopher Street, West Village
Search for bars with NFL Sunday Ticket in Manhattan and you get lists built from reviews, photos and old memories of a bar that had it in 2019. This page uses one test instead: does the bar say so on its own website this season? If it does, we quote it. If it promises every game but never names the package, we say that too.
Three bars pass the strict test: Smithfield Hall on West 25th Street, Turnmill on East 27th Street and The Brazen Tavern on West 44th Street. A second group, led by 3 Sheets nine minutes from our door, promises every game or every major event in other words. Then come the team bars, which show one out-of-town team every week. Our own West Village bar is listed as well, and since our website does not mention Sunday Ticket, neither does this page.
The Manhattan bars whose own websites name NFL Sunday Ticket are Smithfield Hall at 138 West 25th Street, Turnmill at 119 East 27th Street and The Brazen Tavern at 356 West 44th Street. 3 Sheets in Greenwich Village, Printers Alley near Times Square and The Winslow on East 14th Street promise every game or any game you ask for, without naming the package.
Turnmill opens at noon on Sundays and The Brazen Tavern at 11:00 AM; Smithfield Hall does not print its hours. Whichever you pick, call and name your team, because one bar can carry every game and still put yours on a corner screen.
Our West Village kitchen at 118 Christopher Street is a standard one, so we make no gluten-free promise in Manhattan. Our Park Slope bar is different: its whole menu is printed under a 100% gluten-free heading, and our guide to bars with NFL Sunday Ticket in Brooklyn covers the Sunday Ticket question on that side of the river.
Bars with NFL Sunday Ticket in Manhattan: the three that name it
The quotes are copied from each bar’s website on October 19, 2026. The hours are the Sunday hours each bar prints, and the walks were timed in Google Maps walking mode from our West Village door at 118 Christopher Street the same day.
| Bar | Where | What its own site says | Sunday hours | From 118 Christopher St |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Smithfield Hall | 138 West 25th Street, Chelsea | “Comprehensive coverage of all sports with NFL Sunday Ticket, NHL Center Ice, MLB Extra Innings”; 26 TVs inside and 8 at its heated outdoor tables | Not printed on its site | 26 minutes, 1.1 miles |
| Turnmill | 119 East 27th Street, between Park and Lexington | “NFL Sunday Ticket” as the headline of its sports page; “20 huge screens”; NFL reservations | Noon to midnight | 37 minutes, 1.6 miles |
| The Brazen Tavern | 356 West 44th Street, Hell’s Kitchen | “Catch every NFL Sunday game at The Brazen Tavern! With NFL Sunday Ticket and 30 big-screen TVs” | 11:00 AM to midnight | 49 minutes, 2.1 miles |
Smithfield Hall is the most complete answer of the three. It calls itself the home of football in New York City, meaning soccer first, but its about page lists Sunday Ticket beside the other league packages, and it describes two bars, 27 tables and 26 TVs inside, plus nine heated outdoor tables with eight more screens. Reservations go by email to the address on its site. What it does not print is a set of opening hours, so check before a 1:00 PM kickoff.
Turnmill puts “NFL Sunday Ticket” at the top of its weekly sports page, next to all-day Sunday drink specials and its 20 screens, and it takes reservations for college football and NFL days. The Brazen Tavern, near the Theater District, is the one with a full sentence of promise: every NFL Sunday game, Sunday Ticket and 30 big screens, and it also hosts Nebraska Cornhuskers game days.
Every game, no package named
These bars promise the whole slate in their own words but do not use the name Sunday Ticket. They are good second calls, and one of them is the nearest big sports room to our bar. Our own row is at the bottom, because our site names no package either.
| Bar | Where | What its own site says | Sunday hours | From 118 Christopher St |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3 Sheets | 134 West 3rd Street, Greenwich Village | “Whether you root for a local team or an out of town club our 24 big screens show all the major sporting events” | Noon to 2:00 AM | 9 minutes, 0.4 mile |
| Printers Alley | 215 West 40th Street, Midtown | “15+ flat-screen TVs and two projector screens running every game, every day”; home of Steelers Nation NYC | 10:30 AM to 4:00 AM | 43 minutes, 1.9 miles |
| The Winslow | 243 East 14th Street, East Village | “For the most part” it “can stream any game you happen to be looking for”; sound for any “NFL Sunday game”; a Buffalo Bills bar | Weekend brunch from 11:00 AM; kitchen to 11:00 PM | 29 minutes, 1.3 miles |
| Kettle of Fish | 59 Christopher Street, West Village | “A New York City Green Bay Packer bar”; “We open an hour early for the Packers game!” | Noon to 4:00 AM | 4 minutes, 0.2 mile |
| The Beer Garage | 118 Christopher Street, West Village | A sports bar with a heated backyard garden; no package named | 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM | Our door |
“Every game” is not the same sentence as “Sunday Ticket”, but for a Sunday afternoon there is no other legal way to show every out-of-market game, so a bar that promises the full slate almost certainly pays for it. Almost is the word that matters. Ask on the phone, and ask whether your game gets sound, which The Winslow says it gives to NFL Sunday games and 3 Sheets does not mention.
Plenty of other Manhattan sports bars advertise screens without saying what is on them. Overlook on East 44th Street promises “a screen for every game” on more than 30 HDTVs and two jumbotrons, Mustang Harry’s near Madison Square Garden counts more than 20 HDTVs, Stout has 29 TVs and a 10-foot projector, and Wogies on Greenwich Avenue calls itself primarily a football bar on Sundays. None of them names a package, so treat them like any bar with a television: fine for the national games, a phone call for anything else.
Team bars for out-of-town fans
If you follow one team, a team bar beats a bar with every game, because your game is the one with the sound on. Four Manhattan rooms say plainly whose bar they are.
- Green Bay Packers: Kettle of Fish at 59 Christopher Street, four minutes from us, calls itself a New York City Packer bar, throws Packers and Badgers game parties and opens an hour early for Packers games.
- Pittsburgh Steelers: Printers Alley on West 40th Street is the official home of Steelers Nation NYC, by its own site, and Hibernia Bar at 401 West 50th Street calls itself Hell’s Kitchen’s go-to spot for Steelers games.
- Buffalo Bills: The Winslow on East 14th Street calls itself the East Village’s Bills Mafia hub, and Continental Sports Lounge at 82 Beaver Street in the Financial District lists a Buffalo Bills takeover from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Sundays in its events calendar. The New York City Bills Backers take their reservations through Penn 6, according to the club’s own site.
Two teams also keep official finders: the Packers’ Packers Everywhere site and the Bills’ Bills Backers network. Check them before the season’s big games, since a club can move bars between one season and the next.
How Manhattan bars buy Sunday Ticket in 2026
The business version of the package changed hands this year. On July 31, 2026, EverPass Media, which sells Sunday Ticket to commercial venues, announced that DIRECTV FOR BUSINESS would distribute it to bars and restaurants from the 2026 season, over satellite or by streaming, and that venues already subscribed for 2025-26 would renew automatically.
For a fan, the change means two things. A bar can have the package without a satellite dish, so “we don’t have DIRECTV” is no longer the end of the conversation. And because a bar pays for it by the season, a bar that had it last year probably still does, which is why the old sign in a window is a reasonable hint but not a promise.
What the package covers, and what it does not
EverPass describes Sunday Ticket as every out-of-market Sunday afternoon regular-season game. In Manhattan that means every 1:00 PM and late-afternoon game except the ones the New York CBS and FOX stations already carry, usually the Giants and the Jets.
- Not included: Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football and Thursday Night Football, which are national broadcasts, and the playoffs.
- Giants and Jets fans seldom need it, since their games are on local channels. Our guide to where to watch NFL football in Manhattan lists the kickoffs and the bars for every window.
- Everyone else needs it most Sundays, and needs a bar that is open by 1:00 PM. Every bar in the two tables that prints its Sunday hours is open by then, except us: we open at 1:00 PM.
Our West Village room, honestly
The Beer Garage West Village is at 118 Christopher Street, three minutes from the Christopher St–Stonewall station on the 1 train. On Sundays we open at 1:00 PM and close at 11:00 PM, and the room includes a heated backyard garden. Our website calls us a sports bar but does not say whether we carry Sunday Ticket, so this page does not claim it for us, and our kitchen is a standard one.
So here is the honest routing. For a guaranteed out-of-market game, Smithfield Hall is 26 minutes on foot, and for the Packers, Kettle of Fish is four minutes up the street. For a late game with friends in a garden, call us at 646-490-4301 first and name the game you want.
Four picks for four kinds of Sunday
Each pick rests on what its own website promises, nothing more.
Smithfield Hall, 138 West 25th Street. Chelsea.
- Best for a fan who wants it in writing: Sunday Ticket named on its about page, 34 screens across two bars and a heated outdoor section, and reservations by email.
- Skip if you need opening hours before you set out; its site does not print them.
The Brazen Tavern, 356 West 44th Street. Hell’s Kitchen.
- Best for the earliest written promise: every NFL Sunday game, Sunday Ticket and 30 big screens, from 11:00 AM.
- Skip if you are starting downtown; it is a 49-minute walk from Christopher Street.
Kettle of Fish, 59 Christopher Street. Four minutes from us.
- Best for Packers fans: a Packers bar by its own description, open an hour early when Green Bay plays.
- Skip if your team is not the Packers and you want Sunday Ticket in writing; its site does not name the package.
The Beer Garage West Village, 118 Christopher Street. Our own room.
- Best for a late game with a group, in a heated backyard garden three minutes from the 1 train.
- Skip if you need Sunday Ticket guaranteed; our site does not say we carry it, so call first.

A football Sunday can stretch from the 1:00 PM kickoff past the end of the night game. Every bar here serves alcohol to guests 21 and over with photo ID, so eat, alternate with water and settle the trip home before the fourth quarter. The subway runs all night.
Before you go: five checks
- Trust the words this season. Only three bars here write “Sunday Ticket” on their own pages; a window decal or an old review is not a promise for 2026.
- Name your team when you call. Every game on a screen is not every game with sound.
- Confirm the hours. Smithfield Hall does not print them, and international games can kick off in the morning.
- Thursday is its own question. Sunday Ticket does not include the Thursday game, which streams on Prime Video.
- Use the team finders. The Packers and the Bills publish their own lists of bars, and a team bar is the surest way to hear your game.

How we checked
On October 19, 2026 we opened about 55 Manhattan bar websites: the sports bars in our other Manhattan and West Village guides and the names that football guides keep repeating. We read their home, sports, about, events and hours pages, used a browser for the sites that only load that way, and searched each for Sunday Ticket, NFL Ticket and any promise of every game. We copied the wording, the address and the Sunday hours each bar prints.
EverPass Media’s July 31, 2026 announcement, read October 18, 2026, is the source for how bars buy the package. Walks were timed in Google Maps walking mode from 118 Christopher Street on October 19.
It does not confirm what is on any screen on a given Sunday, and none of it comes from a visit. There is no public directory of the bars that subscribe, so a bar that carries Sunday Ticket without saying so will be missing here, and a few sites could not be read at all, including Professor Thom’s, whose site returned an error, and Standings, which has no website.
No bar paid to be listed or asked to be left out. The Beer Garage is ours, as stated above.
118 Christopher Street: Sundays from 1:00 PM
The Beer Garage West Village is at 118 Christopher Street, New York, NY 10014, three minutes from the Christopher St–Stonewall station. Sunday 1:00 to 11:00 PM; Monday to Thursday 3:00 to 11:00 PM, Friday 2:00 PM to midnight and Saturday noon to midnight.
In Brooklyn, The Beer Garage Park Slope is at 148 5th Avenue, 718-576-3409, with a fully gluten-free kitchen.

Is there a bar with NFL Sunday Ticket in the West Village?
None of the West Village bars we read names Sunday Ticket on its site. 3 Sheets, nine minutes from Christopher Street on West 3rd Street, says its 24 screens show all the major sporting events, and Smithfield Hall in Chelsea, which names the package, is 26 minutes away on foot.

The verdict
For bars with NFL Sunday Ticket in Manhattan, the three that put it in writing are Smithfield Hall for the most screens and a heated patio, Turnmill for a noon start east of Park Avenue, and The Brazen Tavern for the fullest promise near Times Square. If you live downtown, 3 Sheets is the closest bar that promises every major event, and Packers fans have Kettle of Fish four minutes from our door. Call ahead, name your team, and if the late game and a garden suit you better, we are at 118 Christopher Street.
