Where to watch the World Series in Brooklyn should be an easy question. Every game is on FOX, which is free over the air, so any bar with a television can carry it. The hard part is the clock. World Series games run three hours and more, and three of the seven are on weeknights, which is exactly when a neighborhood bar like ours closes at 10:00 PM.

So on October 6, 2026 we read MLB’s own postseason schedule and then the websites of nine Brooklyn bars, from the Barclays Center end of 5th Avenue to Greenpoint and Bushwick. We kept the ones whose own pages name baseball or the MLB, wrote down their screens, hours and anything they say about sound, and timed the walks from our Park Slope bar at 148 5th Avenue. We also did the arithmetic on our own closing time, inning by inning.

Short answer

To watch the World Series in Brooklyn with the sound up, go to The Dram Shop at 339 9th Street in Park Slope: its FAQ says it plays sound for playoff and championship games and for every Mets or Yankees playoff game, on eight TVs and a projector, until 1:00 AM on Friday and Saturday. Near Barclays Center, Uncle Barry’s at 58 5th Avenue says it shows MLB games on multiple TVs and a projector and names the Yankees and Mets. In Williamsburg, Kent Ale House lists MLB Extra Innings on twelve screens, and Kilo Bravo, Clara’s in Bushwick and Rounders in Greenpoint all name the MLB.

Our bar, The Beer Garage at 148 5th Avenue, is a sports bar with a fully gluten-free kitchen, and it closes at 10:00 PM from Sunday to Thursday and 11:00 PM on Friday and Saturday. MLB.com lists every game at 8:00 PM ET, so for the Friday and Saturday games that is most of the night; for the Monday to Wednesday games it is the early innings.

Nachos from the first pitch, with no gluten in the kitchen

Baseball food is wheat with a mascot: pretzels, buns, batter. Our Park Slope menu is printed under the heading “100% gluten-free”, so the wings, the burger and the nachos are safe to order without a conversation, and that is true on a World Series night like any other.

The gluten-free kitchen is Park Slope only; our West Village bar in Manhattan runs a standard kitchen. Most beer is brewed from barley, so ask what is on tap before you order. We have not checked the kitchens of the other bars on this page.

The 2026 World Series schedule, in Eastern Time

MLB.com’s postseason page lists seven possible games, all on FOX at 8:00 PM ET, with a note that game times are subject to change. The Brewers host Games 1, 2, 6 and 7, and the Rays host Games 3, 4 and 5. The last column is our own Park Slope closing time that night, from our website footer, so you can see which games fit inside our room.

The 2026 World Series as listed on MLB.com, read October 17, 2026, with The Beer Garage Park Slope’s regular closing time for each night. Games 5, 6 and 7 are played only if the series needs them. All times Eastern.
Game Date TV First pitch We close Also that night in Brooklyn
Game 1 Friday, October 23 FOX 8:00 PM 11:00 PM Nothing on our list
Game 2 Saturday, October 24 FOX 8:00 PM 11:00 PM Nets at Cavaliers, 7:30 PM, YES Network
Game 3 Monday, October 26 FOX 8:00 PM 10:00 PM Nothing on our list
Game 4 Tuesday, October 27 FOX 8:00 PM 10:00 PM Nets at Celtics, 7:30 PM, YES Network
Game 5, if needed Wednesday, October 28 FOX 8:00 PM 10:00 PM Nothing on our list
Game 6, if needed Friday, October 30 FOX 8:00 PM 11:00 PM Nets home game at Barclays Center, Pistons, 7:30 PM
Game 7, if needed Saturday, October 31 FOX 8:00 PM 11:00 PM Halloween, and the Park Slope children’s parade from 6:30 PM

Two dates deserve a second look. Game 6 falls on a Nets home night, so the bars within a few minutes of Barclays Center will be full of basketball fans before the first pitch. And a Game 7 would be played on Halloween, when 7th Avenue in Park Slope is closed for the children’s parade; our guide to the bar near the Park Slope Halloween Parade covers that evening. October 25 and 29 are travel days with no game.

Who is in it: the Rays and the Brewers

No New York team is in it. The Rays swept the Yankees three games to none in the Division Series, finishing with a 4-3 win at Yankee Stadium on October 7, and the Mets had not made the 2026 bracket. The 2026 World Series is the Tampa Bay Rays against the Milwaukee Brewers, per MLB’s own schedule data, read October 20, 2026. The Brewers won the National League pennant by sweeping the Dodgers four games to none, with a 6-4 win in Los Angeles on October 15, so Milwaukee hosts Games 1 and 2. The Rays won the American League pennant four games to two over Cleveland: down two games to one, they won Game 4 in Cleveland 7-3 on October 17, Game 5 there 3-1 on October 18 and Game 6 at home 7-3 on October 19. The same data lists all seven World Series games at 8:00 PM ET on FOX.

Why it matters for a bar night: with no New York team in it, the World Series is a neutral night out in Brooklyn, and the deciding factors are screens, sound and closing time.

Where to watch the World Series in Brooklyn: seven bars whose sites name baseball

We kept a bar only if its own website says it shows baseball or the MLB, or, in our case, if it is ours. Walks are from our door at 148 5th Avenue for the bars close enough to walk to; the rest are listed by neighborhood. Hours are as each bar prints them.

Brooklyn bars whose own websites name baseball or the MLB, read October 6, 2026. Walks measured in Google Maps walking mode from 148 5th Avenue the same day. Screen counts and sound notes are quoted from each bar’s own pages; all times Eastern.
Bar Where What its own site says Hours as printed
Uncle Barry’s, 58 5th Ave Park Slope, by the arena; 5 minutes, 0.2 mile, from us Shows “NFL, MLB, and NBA games throughout the season on multiple TVs and a projector screen”; names the Yankees and the Mets Mon to Thu 3:00 PM to 2:00 AM; Fri 3:00 PM to 4:00 AM; Sat 2:00 PM to 4:00 AM; Sun printed two ways, noon or 3:00 PM, to 2:00 AM
The Beer Garage, 148 5th Ave Park Slope, entrance on Douglass St A sports bar with a “full sports line-up” and a 100% gluten-free menu; no screen count or sound policy published, so call 718-576-3409 Mon to Thu 3:00 to 10:00 PM; Fri 2:00 to 11:00 PM; Sat 1:00 to 11:00 PM; Sun 1:00 to 10:00 PM
The Dram Shop, 339 9th St Park Slope; 19 minutes, 0.8 mile, from us “8 high definition TVs plus a projector”; sound for playoff and championship games and “all Mets/Yankees playoff games”; carries SNY, YES and Fox Sports; no games from streaming services; TVs first come, first seated Bar Mon to Thu 11:00 AM to midnight; Fri and Sat to 1:00 AM; Sun to midnight; kitchen closes an hour earlier
Kent Ale House, 51 Kent Ave Williamsburg “Game central” for soccer, football, baseball, hockey and basketball; “12 flat screen TVs (11 indoors 1 outdoors)” with MLB Extra Innings Mon to Thu 2:00 PM to 2:00 AM; Fri noon to 3:00 AM; Sat 9:00 AM to 3:00 AM; Sun 9:00 AM to midnight
Kilo Bravo, 180 N 10th St Williamsburg “Complete with 3 large TV’s, we regularly show NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB” and college sports Noon to 2:00 AM, every day
Clara’s, 53 Wilson Ave Bushwick “14 TVs + Projector Screen”; lists “NFL · MLB · UFC · NBA · Premier League”; pool table and jukebox Mon to Fri 3:00 PM to 4:00 AM; Sat and Sun noon to 4:00 AM
Rounders, 999 Manhattan Ave Greenpoint “The package for every major sport including NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB”; no table reservations for games, first come first served; back patio Mon 2:00 PM to 2:00 AM; Tue to Fri 1:00 PM to 2:00 AM; Sat and Sun noon to 2:00 AM

Two cautions on that table. Kent Ale House’s about page still describes tournaments from years ago, so treat its wording as old and call before you rely on it. And Uncle Barry’s prints two different Sunday opening times on the same page; if a Sunday game ever appears, which the current schedule does not have, ring first.

The arena-end bars that do not name baseball

Three bars within twelve minutes of our door are sports bars by any reasonable definition, and their pages said nothing about baseball on October 6, 2026. That is a gap in their copy, not proof the game will be off, so we list them with what their sites do say.

The LayUp, 47 5th Avenue, six minutes from us, calls itself Brooklyn’s true neighborhood sports bar, names the Nets, Knicks and Liberty, and lists fifteen beers on tap. Its page description, the text a search result shows, lists MLB among its leagues and promises “Nine screens with sound on”; the page itself does not mention baseball (read October 13, 2026). Hours Monday to Friday 4:00 PM to midnight, Saturday and Sunday noon to midnight. McMahon’s Public House, 39 5th Avenue, seven minutes, offers space to “watch a game on tv” at the bar or in its back garden, 11:00 AM to 2:00 AM daily. Dave and Buster’s, 625 Atlantic Avenue, twelve minutes, promises football, basketball and hockey on “massive HDTVs” and “40 ft. screens”, open until 1:00 AM Wednesday to Saturday and midnight the other nights.

Two more notes from the search. A third-party watch-party listing names Whiskey Brooklyn at 44 Berry Street in Williamsburg as part of the Mets’ bar network, but the bar’s own site carries only its hours, from 5:00 PM on weekdays and 2:00 PM on weekends, and the Mets’ own bar-network page did not load. And a Fort Greene bar that older lists call a baseball bar now has a website serving unrelated content, so we left it out rather than link to it.

Sound: the one bar that prints a policy

Most sports bars never write down when the sound goes up, and most of the bars above do not. The Dram Shop does. Its FAQ answers “Do you play sound for games?” with a list: only for playoff and championship games, for all Green Bay Packers games, for all Mets and Yankees playoff games, and for Giants, Jets, Bills, Knicks and Nets playoff games. A World Series game qualifies with or without a New York team in it.

The same page says TV requests are first come, first seated, reservations are for groups of ten or more, and the kitchen closes an hour before the bar. On a weeknight that means food until 11:00 PM and the bar until midnight; on Friday and Saturday, food to midnight and the bar to 1:00 AM.

Our bar during the World Series, honestly

The Beer Garage Park Slope is a sports bar at 148 5th Avenue, entrance on Douglass Street, five minutes from Uncle Barry’s and eight from Barclays Center. The whole menu is gluten-free, we take bookings on OpenTable, and our homepage promises a full sports line-up. Our Instagram follows the playoffs too: on October 2, 2026, before the second round, we posted a plate of oysters and fries under the caption “Where are you watching round 2?!” What we have never published is a screen count or a sound policy, and this page will not invent one. If your night depends on hearing the broadcast, call 718-576-3409 that afternoon and ask.

Now the clock. MLB.com lists every World Series game at 8:00 PM ET, and a nine-inning game runs about three hours. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday we close at 10:00 PM, so for Games 3, 4 and 5 our room is for about the first six innings; the late innings belong to a bar that stays open. On Friday and Saturday we close at 11:00 PM, so for Games 1, 2, 6 and 7 you will see most or all of the game, and we would rather tell you now than ask you to settle up in the ninth.

Our suggestion for a weeknight game: dinner and the early innings here, then a five-minute walk to Uncle Barry’s or a car to The Dram Shop for the finish. For the broader picture of game nights in the neighborhood, see our guides to watching NBA in Brooklyn and watching NFL football in Brooklyn.

Which bar for which game

Four bars, four kinds of night, each described from its own site or, for us, our own pages.

The Dram Shop, 339 9th Street. For hearing the game.

  • Best for a World Series game with the sound up: its FAQ promises sound for championship games and for all Yankees or Mets playoff games, on eight TVs and a projector, with the bar open to 1:00 AM on Friday and Saturday.
  • Skip if you need a reserved table for fewer than ten people; TVs and seats are first come, first seated.

Uncle Barry’s, 58 5th Avenue. For the arena end of 5th Avenue.

  • Best for a late finish near Barclays Center: its site names MLB games, the Yankees and the Mets, on multiple TVs and a projector screen, and it is open to 2:00 AM on weeknights and 4:00 AM on Friday and Saturday.
  • Skip if Game 6 is on October 30 and you dislike a crowd; the Nets play at home that night and the arena empties onto this block.

Kent Ale House, 51 Kent Avenue. For Williamsburg and a screen count.

  • Best for a group that wants to see the game from anywhere in the room: twelve flat screens, eleven indoors and one outdoors, with MLB Extra Innings, open to 2:00 AM on weeknights and 3:00 AM on Friday and Saturday.
  • Skip if you want current copy; its about page still mentions tournaments from years ago, so confirm by phone.

The Beer Garage, 148 5th Avenue. Our own bar, for the early innings and a gluten-free dinner.

  • Best for Friday and Saturday games, when we are open to 11:00 PM, and for anyone who needs a kitchen with no gluten in it.
  • Skip if you want the ninth inning on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday; we close at 10:00 PM, and we have not published a sound policy.

Seven games, not seven rounds

Every bar on this page checks ID at the door, and a series that can run from October 23 to October 31 is a long week. Eat something, pace the pints, and if you are walking to the arena end of 5th Avenue after a Nets game lets out, mind the crowd on the sidewalk.

Before you go: five warnings

First pitch is 8:00 PM ET, for now. MLB.com lists 8:00 PM ET for all seven games, read October 17, 2026, and says game times are subject to change. Check again on the day.

Game 6 shares a night with a Nets home game. Pistons at Nets tips off at 7:30 PM on Friday, October 30 at Barclays Center, two blocks from Uncle Barry’s and The LayUp.

Game 7 is Halloween. Saturday, October 31 is also the Park Slope children’s parade along 7th Avenue from 6:30 PM, and most bars on 5th Avenue will be in costume.

Only one bar prints a sound policy. The Dram Shop does. Everywhere else, including our room, the honest answer is to call that afternoon.

Weeknight games outlast our hours. We close at 10:00 PM Monday to Wednesday, so Games 3, 4 and 5 will still be going when our lights go down. Plan the late innings elsewhere.

How we checked

How we checked

On October 6, 2026 we read MLB.com’s postseason schedule page for the World Series dates, networks and series standings (the standings again on October 9 and October 12, in MLB’s schedule data on October 14, the results and first-pitch times on October 17, and the pennant winners in MLB’s schedule data on October 20), then the websites of nine Brooklyn bars: home, about, sports, FAQ, calendar, hours and contact pages. A bar made the main table only if its own site names baseball or the MLB. Quotes are as printed; where a site contradicts itself we say so.

Walks were timed in Google Maps walking mode from 148 5th Avenue. Our own hours come from our website footer, and the innings arithmetic uses MLB.com’s 8:00 PM ET first pitch and a three-hour game. No venue paid to appear, and we did not visit the other bars for this page.

Eight minutes from the arena, every plate gluten-free

The Beer Garage Park Slope, 148 5th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11217, entrance on Douglass Street. Open 3:00 to 10:00 PM Monday to Thursday, 2:00 to 11:00 PM Friday, 1:00 to 11:00 PM Saturday and 1:00 to 10:00 PM Sunday. For the Friday and Saturday games, that is the whole evening.

Going to a Nets game the same week? See our guide to bars near Barclays Center for a Nets game.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I watch the World Series in Brooklyn?

By their own websites, read October 6, 2026: Uncle Barry’s at 58 5th Avenue and The Dram Shop at 339 9th Street in Park Slope, Kent Ale House and Kilo Bravo in Williamsburg, Clara’s in Bushwick and Rounders in Greenpoint all say they show MLB games. The Beer Garage at 148 5th Avenue is a sports bar with a gluten-free kitchen, open to 11:00 PM on Friday and Saturday.

When does the 2026 World Series start?

Game 1 is Friday, October 23, 2026, and a Game 7 would be Saturday, October 31, according to MLB.com’s postseason schedule. Games 3, 4 and 5 are Monday to Wednesday, October 26 to 28. MLB.com lists every game at 8:00 PM ET and says times are subject to change.

What channel is the World Series on?

FOX carries every game, per MLB.com. FOX is a broadcast network, so a bar does not need a sports package to show it; what differs between bars is screens, sound and closing time.

Which Brooklyn bar plays the World Series with sound?

The Dram Shop at 339 9th Street is the only bar we found that prints a sound policy: its FAQ lists playoff and championship games and all Mets and Yankees playoff games among the games it plays with sound. Everywhere else, call ahead.

Are the Yankees or Mets in the 2026 World Series?

No. The Rays swept the Yankees three games to none in the Division Series, finishing with a 4-3 win at Yankee Stadium on October 7, 2026, and the Mets did not make the postseason. The 2026 World Series is the Tampa Bay Rays against the Milwaukee Brewers. The Brewers won the National League pennant on October 15 and the Rays won the American League pennant on October 19.

Can I watch the World Series at The Beer Garage in Park Slope?

We are a sports bar, and with an 8:00 PM ET first pitch the Friday and Saturday games run to about our 11:00 PM close. On Monday to Wednesday we close at 10:00 PM, around the sixth inning. We have not published a sound policy, so call 718-576-3409 that day.

The verdict

Where to watch the World Series in Brooklyn depends on which night it is. For sound, The Dram Shop has it in writing. For the blocks by Barclays Center, Uncle Barry’s names baseball and the Yankees and stays open latest. In Williamsburg, Bushwick and Greenpoint, Kent Ale House, Kilo Bravo, Clara’s and Rounders all say they carry the MLB and close at 2:00 AM or later.

Our bar is the gluten-free choice for the Friday and Saturday games, and the early innings on a weeknight. We close before the ninth from Monday to Wednesday, and we would rather you planned the finish elsewhere than found out at 10:00 PM.
