Holiday parties · Brooklyn · Updated October 7, 2026
December fills first. Here is what sixteen Brooklyn venues print about price, minimums and booking dates.
We read the party pages of sixteen Brooklyn bars, breweries, beer halls and event rooms, from our own block of Park Slope to Williamsburg, and wrote down every number they publish. Ours is on the list too, including the parts we have not printed yet.
- Sixteen venues’ own pages read October 7, 2026
- Prices as printed, before tax and tip unless noted
- December Fridays: the 4th, 11th and 18th
- Walks timed from 148 5th Avenue
- 100% gluten-free kitchen in Park Slope
Choosing a holiday party venue in Brooklyn is mostly a race against the calendar. December 2026 has three usable Friday nights, the 4th, the 11th and the 18th, because the fourth Friday is Christmas Day, and most office parties want one of them. The second problem is money: half the venues we read answer the question “what will it cost?” with “send us an email”.
So on October 7, 2026 we read the private-event pages, packet PDFs and FAQs of sixteen Brooklyn venues and kept every figure they print: per-person prices, minimum spends, deposits, capacities and how far ahead they book. Eleven are within a twenty-one-minute walk of our Park Slope bar at 148 5th Avenue; the other five are in Williamsburg and Greenpoint. Where a venue prints nothing, we say so, and that includes us.
For a small team on a budget, LoFi Bar at 341 2nd Street holds a section for up to 25 guests with no rental fee and no minimum spend, and The Commissioner at 247 5th Avenue says it never charges minimums for reservations. For a fixed per-head number near Park Slope, The Dram Shop at 339 9th Street prints an open bar at $45 or $55 a person for three hours and buffets from $30, plus 22% gratuity and tax.
For something to do, Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club in Gowanus prints courts at $60 an hour and drinks from $15 to $35 a person per hour. For a seated dinner, Black Forest Brooklyn has no minimum up to 20 guests and a $34 family-style feast. At the top end, the Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg prints a 2026 holiday package at $199 a person.
Our bar, The Beer Garage at 148 5th Avenue, lists two packages on its PartyPlace page: two hours for 6 to 15 guests with no minimum, and a four-hour buyout for 20 to 60 guests from a $1,000 minimum spend. The whole kitchen is gluten-free. We close at 10:00 PM Sunday to Thursday and 11:00 PM on Friday and Saturday, so ours is an early-evening party.
Every office party has someone who spends the night quietly asking the caterer what is safe. In our Park Slope kitchen the answer is all of it: the printed menu is gluten-free from the wings to the pizzas, so a round of shared platters feeds the whole table, celiac guest included.
That is a Park Slope fact only; our West Village bar runs a standard kitchen. Beer is a separate question, since most of it is brewed from barley, so ask the bartender which pours suit you. Elsewhere on this page, Black Forest Brooklyn says gluten-free options are available on its party menus and the Wythe Hotel says it can accommodate dietary restrictions; we have not checked any other kitchen.
The December 2026 calendar, and who books when
Start with the date, because it decides everything else. Thanksgiving is Thursday, November 26. In December the Fridays fall on the 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th, and the 25th is Christmas Day; Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve are both Thursdays. That leaves three Friday nights and four Saturdays, the 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th, for most of Brooklyn’s office parties, which is why several venues below warn that December goes first.
| Venue | What its page says | What that means for December |
|---|---|---|
| Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club | Cabana parties can be booked up to 75 days ahead, for 10 or more players | The window for Friday, December 18 opened on October 4; for the 4th and the 11th it opened in September |
| Union Hall, Raised Platform | “As early as possible – we book quickly, especially during the holiday and wedding seasons” | Ask early for any December Friday |
| Union Hall, basement buyout | Booked “at a minimum of 4-6 months in advance” | A December date needed booking by late summer; plan on the platform instead |
| LoFi Bar | “Two weeks is comfortable for most groups. Weekend dates and December fill up faster”; “December books up early” | Two weeks is its normal lead time; give December more |
| Wythe Hotel | “Our holiday party venues book up quickly!”; a reply within one business day | Send the inquiry form before you pick the menu |
| Brooklyn Winery | “Book now for the best dates!”; mention “Holiday Perks” when inquiring | A booking perk is offered, but not described |
| Black Forest Brooklyn | 40% off room minimums on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, which “does not apply to holidays and any dates in November and December” | No midweek discount for a holiday party in 2026 |
| Skylark | “We cannot take reservations less than a week in advance” | A last-minute party still needs a week’s notice, by email |
Two smaller deadlines hide inside the paperwork. Union Hall’s catering platters must be ordered 14 days before the event, and Black Forest Brooklyn’s deposit stops being refundable two weeks out. If your date is December 18, both of those fall on December 4.
What a holiday party venue in Brooklyn charges: the ones that print a price
Eight of the sixteen venues put real numbers on their own pages, two of them a minimum of zero, and our own listing makes nine. Walks are from our door at 148 5th Avenue; tax and tip are listed separately because the venues treat them so differently.
| Venue | What it prints | Tax and tip | Deposit and cancellation |
|---|---|---|---|
| LoFi Bar, 341 2nd St, Park Slope near Gowanus; 10 minutes, 0.4 mile | A section for up to 25 guests, “no rental fee, no minimum spend”; guests order as they go. A full buyout of the room, bar and kitchen for 3 hours is quoted by email | Not stated | Not stated |
| The Commissioner, 247 5th Ave; 7 minutes, 0.3 mile | “We never charge minimums for reservations”; no capacity or package printed | Not stated | Not stated |
| The Beer Garage, 148 5th Ave, entrance on Douglass St | On PartyPlace: a classic reservation, 2 hours, 6 to 15 guests, no minimum; a full buyout, 4 hours, 20 to 60 guests, from a $1,000 minimum spend. The same page’s header says 8 to 50 guests | Not stated | Not stated |
| Union Hall, 702 Union St; 5 minutes, 0.2 mile | Raised Platform for 20 to 70 people, 3-hour minimum: $500 minimum spend Monday to Thursday, $600 Friday to Sunday, no rental fee. Basement bar buyout for up to 100: $1,000 rental, $200 admin fee and a $2,000 food and drink minimum | 20% auto-gratuity on top; basement prices exclude sales tax | Platform minimum paid at booking, then used as your bar tab |
| The Dram Shop, 339 9th St; 19 minutes, 0.8 mile | House open bar $45 a person, top shelf $55, three hours, 15 people minimum, shots excluded. Shared appetizers $25 a person for 10 to 20 people; buffets $30, $39, $47 and $54 for three to six items; taco bar $30; salad bar $20 | Plus 22% gratuity and 8.875% sales tax; extra charges possible at peak times such as weekends | 50% deposit, balance 3 days before; cancel at least a week ahead or lose the deposit |
| Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club, 514 Union St, Gowanus; 11 minutes, 0.5 mile | Courts $60 an hour each: one court for 8 to 15 guests, two for 16 to 30, three for 31 and up. Drinks per person per hour: zero-proof $15, beer and wine $20, well $25, signature $30, premium $35. Food from the food trucks in its bay | Not stated on the pages we read | Not stated on the pages we read |
| Gowanus Gardens, 256 4th Ave; 8 minutes, 0.4 mile. Outdoor patio only, “heated and covered during cooler months” | Groups of 7 to 11 and 15 to 20: $25 a person per hour minimum; a picnic table for up to 14: $350 an hour; the private patio for up to 50: $1,200 to $1,600 an hour, two-hour minimum | Included: its minimums include tax and gratuity | $50 or $100 for groups, 50% for private events; non-refundable if you cancel |
| Black Forest Brooklyn, 733 Fulton St, Fort Greene (17 minutes, 0.7 mile) and 181 Smith St, Boerum Hill (21 minutes, 0.9 mile) | Up to 20 guests: no minimum. Food: appetizers $22, family-style feast $34, plated three courses $60 a person. Drinks: beer and wine $40 or full bar $60 a person for two hours. Room minimums from $1,600 for two hours to $12,000 for the whole Fort Greene restaurant for three | Minimums exclude tax; 20% auto-gratuity on the minimum or the bill, whichever is higher | 50% of the minimum, fully refundable until two weeks before |
| Wythe Hotel, 80 Wythe Ave, Williamsburg | 2026 Holiday Party Package: $199 a person for three passed canapés, a three-course meal and a three-hour open bar, catered by its French brasserie, Le Crocodile | Plus tax and an administrative fee | Not stated |
One note on Gowanus Gardens: it is the only venue on this page whose minimum already includes tax and gratuity, so its figures look higher than they are next to everyone else’s. Its party space is the back patio, heated and covered in the cold months, not an indoor room.
Twenty guests for three hours: the arithmetic
Printed prices only make sense side by side, so here is one party, twenty guests for three hours on a December Friday, priced from each venue’s own page. These are floors, not quotes: food, a fourth hour and anything off the package cost more, and any venue can change its prices or turn down a date.
| Venue | On paper | Tax and tip |
|---|---|---|
| LoFi Bar | $0 to reserve; each guest pays for their own drinks and bites | Paid as you go |
| The Commissioner | No minimum; the bill is what the table orders | Paid as you go |
| Union Hall platform | $600 minimum spend, $30 a head, credited to your bar tab | Plus 20% gratuity |
| Gowanus Gardens | $25 × 20 guests × 3 hours = $1,500 minimum spend, on the heated patio | Included |
| Royal Palms | Two courts × $60 × 3 hours = $360, plus beer and wine at $20 × 20 × 3 = $1,200: $1,560 before food; $2,160 with the signature package | Not stated |
| Black Forest Brooklyn | Family feast $34 + beer and wine $40 for two hours = $74 × 20 = $1,480; a third hour of drinks adds $400, so $1,880 | Plus tax and 20% gratuity |
| The Dram Shop | House open bar $45 + four-item buffet $39 = $84 × 20 = $1,680 | Plus 22% gratuity and 8.875% tax |
| The Beer Garage | Twenty is the smallest group our buyout lists: four hours from a $1,000 minimum spend, $50 a head, at menu prices | Not stated |
| Wythe Hotel | $199 × 20 = $3,980 for food and a three-hour open bar | Plus tax and administrative fee |
Two caveats. Royal Palms and Black Forest price drinks by the hour, so every extra hour adds to the bill in a straight line, while The Dram Shop’s open bar is a fixed three hours. And our own buyout runs four hours but has to end at our closing time, so on a Friday it starts by 7:00 PM.
Bigger teams: rooms and capacities as printed
Past about thirty guests the question changes from price to space. These are the capacities the venues print, including the ones that publish no prices at all; for those, the number below is the whole of what the page tells you.
| Venue | Rooms and capacities | Prices |
|---|---|---|
| Threes Brewing, 333 Douglass St, Gowanus; 4 minutes, 0.2 mile | Main Bar, 1,500 sq ft, 120 people; The Yard, 3,200 sq ft, up to 150 private or 50 semi-private; Tiny Montgomery, 750 sq ft, 75 people. Names “holiday parties” and can bring the bar to your office | No prices; inquiry form |
| McMahon’s Public House, 39 5th Ave; 7 minutes, 0.3 mile | An upstairs lounge with its own full bar and two outdoor patios, for “parties of all sizes” | “For all inquiries on event menus and prices please come by, call, or fill out the form” |
| Littlefield, 635 Sackett St, Gowanus; 6 minutes, 0.3 mile | A performance space with a stage, LED wall and projector; its capacity answer still cites pandemic-era state guidance of 150 guests | No prices; a bar guarantee, 20% gratuity on open bars, and open-bar tabs paid only by check, Zelle or Venmo |
| Black Forest Brooklyn, Fort Greene | Front Skylight Room 25 seated or 30 standing; Back Skylight Room 45 or 50; full Skylight Room 60 to 70 or 80 to 90; whole restaurant 110 or 160 indoors, 130 or 180 with the sidewalk | Minimums $1,600 to $12,000 (see above) |
| Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club | Cabana parties from 8 to more than 100 guests; half-space buyout 50 to 250-plus; full space 150 to 500-plus, in 17,000 sq ft with ten courts | Courts and drinks priced (see above) |
| Radegast Hall & Biergarten, 113 N 3rd St, Williamsburg | Bier Haus, 125, with its own entrance, bar and restrooms; Main Hall, 200 to 300, with the front bar and garden. Reservations for groups of 25 or more | No prices; packages are based on two to three hours |
| Wythe Hotel, Williamsburg | The Cellar and the Penthouse Loft, 50 standing or 40 seated each; Bar Blondeau, 150 or 70; Main Hall, 200 or 150, with a heated Garden Terrace | $199 a person holiday package |
| Brooklyn Winery, 61 Guernsey St, by McCarren Park | 15 to 300 guests; all-inclusive packages from cocktail-hour bites to plated dinners | No prices |
| Brooklyn Bowl, 61 Wythe Ave, Williamsburg | Sixteen lanes, two bars and food by Blue Ribbon; book lanes during a show or the whole venue; names holiday parties | No prices on the pages read |
| Brooklyn Brewery, moving to 1 Wythe Ave, Williamsburg | Up to 200 for a full rental, unlimited beer included in private events, no kitchen | No prices; and every day was listed as closed on October 7 during the move |
For the very large party, six of the venues we read print a capacity above 150: Royal Palms, Radegast Hall, Brooklyn Winery, Brooklyn Brewery once its new space opens, the Wythe Hotel’s Main Hall and Black Forest’s Fort Greene restaurant for a cocktail reception. Everything else on this page is a bar-sized party.
The small print that changes the plan
Outside food. Radegast Hall allows no outside food or drinks, cake included. Royal Palms allows cakes and sweets and nothing else from outside. Gowanus Gardens lets you bring a cake for $1 a person to cut it, Black Forest charges a $25 plating fee for outside desserts up to 20 guests and $50 above that, and LoFi Bar keeps your cake behind the bar and brings out plates and forks at no charge. Littlefield has no kitchen at all, so food comes from its sister restaurant or a caterer who arrives with it ready.
How you pay. Littlefield takes open-bar tabs only by check, Zelle or Venmo, and adds 20% gratuity to them. Gowanus Gardens takes deposits by Zelle. Union Hall wants the platform minimum when you book.
Peak pricing. The Dram Shop warns that additional charges might apply at peak times such as weekends, and Black Forest’s weekday discount is switched off for November and December. Ask every venue whether a December Friday costs more than the price on the page.
Ages. Union Hall is strictly 21-plus from 6:00 PM, Gowanus Gardens from 8:00 PM, and Radegast Hall admits no minors after 8:00 PM, though its private events have no age limit. Royal Palms is 21-plus Monday to Saturday except for full buyouts, and The Dram Shop requires every event guest to be 21 or older with ID.
Big groups without a booking. Skylark asks groups not to arrive unannounced with more than 20 people and requires a buyout once a party fills half the bar. Radegast seats full parties only and releases a reservation once its time passes. Brooklyn Brewery says parties of ten or more without a reservation may pay a surcharge.
Our room for a holiday party, honestly
The Beer Garage Park Slope is a sports bar at 148 5th Avenue, entrance on Douglass Street. Our homepage says we host private parties and corporate events of any size, and our PartyPlace listing names holiday parties and office parties among the occasions we suit, with long communal tables and a draft list that keeps changing. It prints two packages: a two-hour classic reservation for 6 to 15 guests with no minimum, and a four-hour full buyout for 20 to 60 guests from a $1,000 minimum spend.
What we do not print, as of October 7, 2026: a holiday package, a per-person price, a December calendar or a deposit policy. The listing’s own header says 8 to 50 guests while the buyout says 20 to 60, and a group of 16 to 19 falls between the two packages. Until a holiday offer is published, email BeerGarageBK@gmail.com or call 718-576-3409 with the date and headcount, and get the terms back in writing.
Then the clock. We close at 10:00 PM Sunday to Thursday and 11:00 PM on Friday and Saturday, so a four-hour buyout starts by 6:00 PM on a weeknight or 7:00 PM on a Friday or Saturday. That suits an after-work party; it does not suit a team that wants to keep going past midnight, and for that the bars in the tables above that close at 2:00 AM or later are the honest answer.
Our OpenTable page also prints a happy hour from Monday to Thursday, 3:00 to 7:00 PM, with $1.50 oysters and clams and $7 drafts. Whether those prices apply to a booked party is not printed, so ask before you plan the budget around them. The real reason to book us is the kitchen: a team with a celiac colleague can order platters for the table without anyone reading labels. For more on that, see our guide to the sports bar with fully gluten-free food in Brooklyn, and for after-work prices around the neighborhood, our happy hour in Park Slope guide.
Which venue for which party
Five venues, five kinds of party, each described from its own pages or, for us, our own listings.
LoFi Bar, 341 2nd Street. For a small team that pays its own way.
- Best for up to 25 guests with no rental fee and no minimum spend, a cake kept behind the bar, and small bites until 1:00 AM, ten minutes from our door.
- Skip if you want the room to yourselves at a known price; the section is semi-private, and the full buyout is quoted by email.
The Dram Shop, 339 9th Street. For a fixed per-head budget.
- Best for a planner who needs a number before the first email: a $45 open bar for three hours, buffets from $30 a person, and a pool and darts area you can reserve.
- Skip if you want tax and tip inside the price; add 22% and 8.875% to every figure, and expect possible extra charges on weekends.
Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club, 514 Union Street. For a party with a game in it.
- Best for ten to a hundred-plus guests who want shuffleboard, with courts at $60 an hour, drinks from $15 a person an hour and a five-minute pro lesson.
- Skip if your group includes anyone under 21 on a Monday to Saturday, or you need a kitchen; food comes from whichever truck is in the bay.
Black Forest Brooklyn, Fort Greene or Boerum Hill. For a seated dinner.
- Best for teams of up to 20 with no minimum, a $34 family-style German feast and drinks packages printed down to the extra hour.
- Skip if you were counting on its weekday discount; it does not apply in November or December.
The Beer Garage, 148 5th Avenue. Our own bar, for an early, gluten-free party.
- Best for 6 to 15 guests with no minimum, or a buyout for 20 to 60 from $1,000, when someone at the table cannot eat gluten.
- Skip if the party has to run past 10:00 PM on a weeknight or 11:00 PM on a Friday or Saturday.

Every venue on this page serves alcohol only to guests 21 and over with ID, and several become strictly 21-plus in the evening. A package priced by the hour is an invitation to keep pace with the clock, so order food early, put water on every table, and settle how everyone gets home before the first round. The subway or a car service beats driving every time.
Before you sign: five questions to ask
Are tax and tip inside the price? Only Gowanus Gardens says its minimums include both. The Dram Shop adds 22% and 8.875%, Union Hall and Black Forest add 20%, and the Wythe Hotel adds tax and an administrative fee.
When does the deposit stop being refundable? Black Forest refunds in full until two weeks before, The Dram Shop until one week before, and Gowanus Gardens keeps deposits if you cancel.
Does a December Friday cost more? The Dram Shop prints that peak times may carry extra charges. Ask everyone else the same question in writing.
What time does the room close? A four-hour party in a bar that closes at 10:00 PM starts at 6:00 PM. Ours does; so does any bar with similar hours.
Will the venue be open? Brooklyn Brewery listed every day as closed on October 7 while it moves to 1 Wythe Avenue. Confirm that the new space is open on your date before you send the form.
Find your venue
Two questions, sixteen answers, all drawn from the tables above.
1. How many people are coming?
2. What matters most?
LoFi Bar, 341 2nd Street, or The Commissioner, 247 5th Avenue. LoFi holds a section free with no minimum; The Commissioner says it never charges minimums for reservations.
Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club, 514 Union Street. Eight to fifteen guests get one court and one cabana; courts are $60 an hour, drinks from $15 a person an hour.
Black Forest Brooklyn. No minimum up to 20 guests; a $34 family-style feast or $60 plated three courses, in Fort Greene or Boerum Hill.
The Beer Garage, 148 5th Avenue. Our two-hour reservation for 6 to 15 guests has no minimum, and every dish in the kitchen is gluten-free.
LoFi Bar. Up to 25 guests with no rental fee and no minimum; its page says groups of 10 to 25 work best.
Royal Palms. Sixteen to thirty guests get two courts; with beer and wine, three hours for twenty comes to $1,560 before food.
Black Forest Brooklyn’s Front Skylight Room. Seats up to 25, with a two-hour minimum of $1,600; up to 20 guests, no minimum at all.
The Beer Garage. From 20 guests, our four-hour buyout starts at a $1,000 minimum; for 16 to 19, ask, because our packages skip that size.
Union Hall’s Raised Platform, 702 Union Street. 20 to 70 people, three hours, a $500 weeknight or $600 weekend minimum, plus 20% gratuity.
Royal Palms. Three courts and two or three cabanas for 31 guests and up; book up to 75 days ahead.
Black Forest Brooklyn’s Skylight Room. 45 seated in the back room or 60 to 70 in the whole room, with minimums from $2,400 for two hours.
The Beer Garage buyout. 20 to 60 guests, four hours, from a $1,000 minimum, with a fully gluten-free kitchen; it ends at our closing time.
Union Hall’s platform, then email. It takes up to 70 for the same $500 or $600 minimum; past that, Threes Brewing and Radegast Hall quote on request.
Royal Palms or Brooklyn Bowl. Royal Palms prints half-space buyouts for 50 to 250-plus; Brooklyn Bowl rents lanes or the whole venue, prices on request.
The Wythe Hotel or Black Forest Fort Greene. The Wythe’s $199 package seats 150 in the Main Hall; Black Forest seats 110 indoors from an $8,000 minimum.
Not us, honestly. Our listing tops out at 60. The Wythe Hotel says it can accommodate dietary restrictions, and Black Forest lists gluten-free options.
How we checked
On October 7, 2026 we read the private-event, party, FAQ and hours pages of sixteen Brooklyn venues, plus The Dram Shop’s 2026 event packet and Union Hall’s 2026 platform guide and its lower-level buyout guide, which is labeled 2025. Prices and quotes are as printed; the totals and booking dates are our own arithmetic. We left out The Bell House, which has no private-event page, Barcade, whose site would not load, and Brooklyn Grange, whose holiday page now sends you to its homepage.
Walks were timed in Google Maps walking mode from 148 5th Avenue. Our own terms come from our PartyPlace listing, our homepage and our OpenTable page. No venue paid to appear, we did not visit the others for this page, and we have not tasted their party menus.
Twenty to sixty guests, one gluten-free kitchen
The Beer Garage Park Slope, 148 5th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11217, entrance on Douglass Street. Open 3:00 to 10:00 PM Monday to Thursday, 2:00 to 11:00 PM Friday, 1:00 to 11:00 PM Saturday and 1:00 to 10:00 PM Sunday. Send the date and the headcount, and ask for the terms in writing.

Frequently asked questions
What is a good holiday party venue in Brooklyn?
It depends on the budget. By their own pages, read October 7, 2026: LoFi Bar in Park Slope holds a section for up to 25 with no minimum, The Dram Shop prints open bars at $45 or $55 a person for three hours, Royal Palms in Gowanus prints shuffleboard courts at $60 an hour, Black Forest Brooklyn has no minimum up to 20 guests, and the Wythe Hotel prints a $199-a-person holiday package. The Beer Garage at 148 5th Avenue offers a 20-to-60-guest buyout from $1,000 with a fully gluten-free kitchen.
How much does a holiday party cost in Brooklyn?
For twenty guests over three hours, the printed prices we found run from nothing up front at LoFi Bar and The Commissioner, to a $600 Friday minimum at Union Hall, $1,500 with tax and tip included at Gowanus Gardens, $1,680 before tip and tax at The Dram Shop, and $3,980 before tax at the Wythe Hotel. These are our calculations from each venue’s page, not quotes.
How far ahead should I book a December holiday party in Brooklyn?
As early as you can. Royal Palms takes cabana bookings up to 75 days ahead, so its windows for the December 4, 11 and 18 Fridays had opened by October 7; Union Hall books its basement four to six months out; LoFi Bar says two weeks suits most groups but December fills faster; and Skylark will not take a reservation less than a week ahead.
Which Brooklyn venues have no minimum spend for a group?
LoFi Bar for up to 25 guests, The Commissioner for any reservation, Black Forest Brooklyn for up to 20 guests, and The Beer Garage Park Slope for a two-hour reservation of 6 to 15 guests all print no minimum, as read on October 7, 2026.
Can I bring a cake to a holiday party venue in Brooklyn?
Usually, with conditions. LoFi Bar keeps it behind the bar for free, Gowanus Gardens charges $1 a person to cut it, Black Forest Brooklyn charges a $25 or $50 plating fee, and Royal Palms allows cakes and sweets but no other outside food. Radegast Hall allows no outside food or drinks, cake included.
Can I hold a holiday party at The Beer Garage in Park Slope?
Yes. Our PartyPlace listing offers a two-hour reservation for 6 to 15 guests with no minimum and a four-hour buyout for 20 to 60 guests from a $1,000 minimum spend, and the whole Park Slope menu is gluten-free. We close at 10:00 PM Sunday to Thursday and 11:00 PM on Friday and Saturday; email BeerGarageBK@gmail.com or call 718-576-3409.
The verdict
The best holiday party venue in Brooklyn is the one that shows you the price before you fall for the room, and on October 7, 2026 only eight of the sixteen we read did. For no money down, LoFi Bar and The Commissioner. For a fixed per-head figure near Park Slope, The Dram Shop, Union Hall’s platform and Gowanus Gardens, the only one whose minimum already includes tax and tip. For a game, Royal Palms; for a seated dinner, Black Forest Brooklyn; for the full treatment, the Wythe Hotel at $199 a person.
Our bar is the early, gluten-free option: 6 to 15 guests with no minimum, or a buyout for 20 to 60 that ends at 10:00 or 11:00 PM. Whichever you pick, pick the date first. In December, the date chooses the venue.
