What channel are the Knicks on?
Most Knicks games in 2026-27 air on MSG Network, and the rest air nationally on NBC and Peacock, ABC and ESPN, or Prime Video. A national broadcast replaces MSG for that game. Two things catch people out. First, MSG says DAZN is its exclusive streaming home this season, so older advice about other MSG apps is out of date. Second, NBA League Pass blacks out local and national games, so it will not show a Knicks game in New York. At a bar, the game comes through MSG Network or the national channel.

To be fair to the others: Mustang Harry’s publishes the most screens and is a short walk from the Garden, and Avenida is the obvious pick before a home game if you have tickets. Triona’s publishes 14 HDTVs, which is more than we publish. If you live downtown and just want the game with food and a beer, a neighborhood bar saves you the trip to Midtown.

Getting from the West Village to Madison Square Garden
The quickest way from The Beer Garage West Village to Madison Square Garden is the uptown 1 train from Christopher St-Stonewall to 34 St-Penn Station, a direct local ride of five stops. The Garden sits above Penn Station, so there is no transfer and almost no walk at the far end.
