Looking for a craft beer bar in Park Slope is mostly a question of what is on tap tonight, and that is the one thing most bars keep off their websites. So on September 29, 2026 we went through the sites of the bars in and around the neighborhood and read every draft list we could find, whether it lived on a web page, an embedded beer menu, a shared document or a photographed menu.

Fifteen bars publish one. Between them they list 214 draft lines, and the brewer that turns up most often is not from Brooklyn at all. Our own room, The Beer Garage in Park Slope, does not publish a list, and the table says so rather than skipping us.

Short answer

For the biggest list, Fourth Avenue Pub at 76 4th Avenue prints 27 drafts, updated September 28, 2026. For beer from New York State, Brewer’s Row at 228 7th Avenue prints 11 of its 18 drafts as brewed in the state, with flights. For bottles, The Owl Farm at 297 9th Street lists 105 of them next to 21 taps.

For beer brewed where you drink it, Threes Brewing at 333 Douglass Street is four minutes from our door and Wild East Brewing at 623 Sackett Street is six. The most common craft name on the lists is KCBC, on ten of fifteen.

Craft beer and a gluten-free guest

Almost everything on these lists is brewed from barley or wheat, so a craft beer bar is a hard place for someone who cannot have gluten. Cider is the usual way round it: Hudson North is poured at five of the fifteen bars and Downeast at three. At 148 5th Avenue the food side is simple, because the Park Slope menu is printed under “100% gluten-free”; ask the bartender which cider or labeled gluten-free bottle is in that day.

That is our Park Slope kitchen only. Our West Village kitchen on Christopher Street is a standard one.

Craft beer bar in Park Slope: who publishes a tap list

Sorted by walk from 148 5th Avenue in Google Maps walking mode. “Where from” counts only what the list itself prints; if a bar names a beer but not its home, the column says so instead of us filling it in. Prices are the range printed for a standard pour.

Draft lists published by Park Slope bars on their own websites, read September 29, 2026, sorted by walk from 148 5th Avenue.

The Double Windsor, 210 Prospect Park West 39 minutes, 1.7 miles 13 $8 to $10, with the pour size for each 7 of 13 from New York State None

Four things stand out. Fourth Avenue Pub has the longest list by six lines. Brewer’s Row has the highest share of New York State beer among the lists that print origins, 11 of 18, with Park Slope Ale House close behind at 6 of 10. Five lists show a date: four from the last five days, and Skylark’s menu page, which still says April 3, 2024. And only The Double Windsor and Brewer’s Row print the size of every pour next to its price, from five ounces to sixteen.

The beers on the most Park Slope lists

Put the fifteen lists side by side and a few names keep coming back. This counts each brewer once per bar, however many of its beers that bar pours.

Brewers named on the most published Park Slope draft lists, of fifteen, read September 29, 2026.
Brewer Lists Where you will find it
Guinness 11 Every list but The Owl Farm, LoFi, Whisk & Whiskey and The Double Windsor
KCBC, Brooklyn 10 High Dive, The Commissioner, Whisk & Whiskey, Gowanus Gardens, The Gate, The Owl Farm, Union Hall, Brewer’s Row, The Dram Shop, The Double Windsor
Other Half, Brooklyn 8 High Dive, Gowanus Gardens, LoFi, Union Hall, Park Slope Ale House, Brewer’s Row, Skylark, The Double Windsor
TALEA, Brooklyn 7 Whisk & Whiskey, LoFi, The Gate, Union Hall, Park Slope Ale House, Brewer’s Row, The Dram Shop
Hudson North cider, Newburgh 5 High Dive, Whisk & Whiskey, Park Slope Ale House, Brewer’s Row, Skylark
Threes, Grimm, Finback, Hudson Valley 4 each Threes at The Commissioner, Union Hall, Park Slope Ale House and The Double Windsor; Grimm at Gowanus Gardens, Park Slope Ale House, The Owl Farm and The Double Windsor

So if you want one Brooklyn beer you can find almost anywhere on this list, it is KCBC’s, from the Kings County Brewers Collective. The Dram Shop prints its Superhero Sidekicks hazy IPA as brewed in Bushwick; High Dive, Brewer’s Row and The Double Windsor all had its Harvest Zombie sour on the lists we read on September 29.

Breweries you can walk to

Two breweries pour their own beer closer to our door than most of the bars above.

Threes Brewing, 333 Douglass Street. Four minutes from us, 0.2 mile. Its Gowanus home, open since 2014, is a brewery, coffee counter, beer shop and music room in one, open from noon to midnight Monday to Saturday and until 11:00 PM on Sunday, with the kitchen on shorter hours. Its site says no reservations are needed. The drinks menu it links to showed 20 beers on tap, updated September 25, 2026, its own beers alongside guest beers from other breweries, with its 16-ounce West Coast IPA at $8.

Wild East Brewing, 623 Sackett Street. Six minutes from us, 0.3 mile. The taproom is open from 2:00 to 10:00 PM Monday to Thursday, until midnight on Friday and Saturday, and from noon to 9:00 PM on Sunday. Its site says it is Cask Marque accredited and that nearly all of its staff are Lukr-certified tapsters, which is a fair sign that the pour matters here; dogs are welcome and food pop-ups run most weekends. Its current draft list lives on a beer app that showed us a bot check, so we cannot count it.

One name to cross off: Strong Rope Brewery, still on older Gowanus lists, now describes its taproom as being in Red Hook.

Our taps, honestly

The Beer Garage at 148 5th Avenue pours what our homepage calls a rotating selection of craft beer sourced locally, and we do not publish the Park Slope list. The honest reason is that the handles change often enough that a printed list would be wrong within the week; the less flattering result is that, on the test this page sets, we score a blank.

What we can put a number on is happy hour: our OpenTable listing prints $7 drafts from 3:00 to 7:00 PM Monday to Thursday, with $1.50 oysters and clams, and the full comparison is in our guide to happy hour in Park Slope. Our Manhattan room does publish its list, 37 beer and cider lines at 118 Christopher Street, set out in our West Village guide.

What sets the Park Slope room apart is the other half of the order. The kitchen behind the taps is gluten-free from end to end, so a round of pints can come with wings, nachos or a sampler without anyone at the table asking what is safe. If you want to know what is pouring before you walk over, call 718-576-3409.

Which bar for which beer drinker

Four rooms, four kinds of beer night. Each line comes from the bar’s own list or, for us, our own site and listing.

Fourth Avenue Pub, 76 4th Avenue. Eight minutes from us, with the longest list in the neighborhood.

  • Best for range: 27 drafts updated September 28, 2026, from Chimay and Delirium to Half Acre, Oxbow and Dutchess Ales, plus bottle, can and draft cocktail lists. Its beer page also prints a weekday happy hour until 7:00 PM, $1 off everything.
  • Skip if you want the cheapest pint: most drafts are $9.36 by card, a little less in cash, and the Belgian ones reach $13.52.

Brewer’s Row, 228 7th Avenue. Eighteen minutes from us, and the most local list that prints origins.

  • Best for New York State beer: 11 of 18 drafts, from Brooklyn’s Other Half, Transmitter and TALEA to Graft cider from Newburgh and Ommegang from Cooperstown, with 10-ounce and 5-ounce pours and a $16 flight for tasting through them.
  • Skip if you are heading out on a weeknight before 5:00 PM; its own location page opens it at 5:00 PM Monday to Thursday.

The Owl Farm, 297 9th Street. Eighteen minutes from us, and the deepest fridge.

  • Best for German and Belgian styles and a long look through the bottles: 21 taps, 105 bottles and 21 cans on a list updated September 26, 2026, including a gueuze, a Schwarzbier and a canned pilsner it says was first brewed for the bar.
  • Skip if you want prices before you arrive: the list prints none. Its weekday happy hour, 4:00 to 7:00 PM, prices a 20-ounce house lager at $7.

The Beer Garage, 148 5th Avenue. Our own room, entrance on Douglass Street.

  • Best for a local draft with food nobody has to ask about: rotating taps, $7 drafts at happy hour Monday to Thursday, and a kitchen that is gluten-free on every plate.
  • Skip if you choose your bar by its tap list online. We do not post one; call 718-576-3409 and ask.

Strong beer, small glasses

Every pour on this page is for guests 21 and over with ID. Several lists pour their strongest beers in 10- or 12-ounce glasses for a reason: the imperial stout at The Double Windsor is 11 per cent and the barleywine at Threes 11.5. A flight is the easy way to try four without drinking four pints, and the subway is the easy way home.

Before you go: five warnings

Most lists carry no date. Only High Dive, Fourth Avenue Pub, The Owl Farm and Brewer’s Row print when their list was last changed, all between September 25 and 28, 2026. Skylark’s menu page says April 3, 2024, so treat its list as a guide to the style of the bar rather than tonight’s taps.

Prices depend on how you pay. Fourth Avenue Pub prints card prices and takes 4 per cent off if you close in cash. Brewer’s Row and Threes price by the pour, so a 10-ounce glass is not a cheaper pint.

Some lists will not load for everyone. Wild East keeps its draft list on a beer app that showed us a bot check, and McMahon’s Public House has a drafts tab that came up empty even in a browser.

Strong Rope has moved. Its site now places its taproom in Red Hook, so older round-ups that send you to Gowanus for it are out of date.

The Gate has two addresses online. Its old web address now forwards to an unrelated site; the working tap list sits on its menu provider’s page.

Also without a published list: Uncle Barry’s at 58 5th Avenue, The LayUp Bar at 47 5th Avenue, which says it has 15 beers on tap without naming them, and McMahon’s at 39 5th Avenue.

Two questions, sixteen answers, all taken from the lists above.

1. What are you drinking?

How we checked

How we checked

On September 29, 2026 we opened the website of each bar in and around Park Slope and read every draft list it publishes, including beer lists embedded from menu services and lists printed only as images, which we read line by line. We counted a line once, left blends out of the count, and recorded an origin only where the list printed one. Dates are the ones each list shows.

For the two taprooms we used their own sites and, for Threes, the drinks menu its site links to. Walks were measured in Google Maps walking mode from 148 5th Avenue. For our own room we used our homepage and our OpenTable listing. No bar paid to appear.

Rotating local drafts, $7 at happy hour

The Beer Garage Park Slope, 148 5th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11217, entrance on Douglass Street. Happy hour 3:00 to 7:00 PM Monday to Thursday; open until 10:00 PM, 11:00 PM on Friday and Saturday.

Our Manhattan room is at 118 Christopher Street in the West Village, 646-490-4301, and publishes its 37 beer and cider lines online; its kitchen is standard, not gluten-free.

Frequently asked questions

It depends on what you drink. Fourth Avenue Pub at 76 4th Avenue publishes the most drafts, 27 on September 28, 2026. Brewer’s Row at 228 7th Avenue publishes the highest share from New York State, 11 of 18. The Owl Farm at 297 9th Street lists 21 taps and 105 bottles. All three post their lists online with a date.

Where can I drink beer brewed in Brooklyn near Park Slope?

At the source: Threes Brewing at 333 Douglass Street and Wild East Brewing at 623 Sackett Street are both within a seven-minute walk of 5th Avenue and Douglass Street. In the bars, KCBC is on ten of the fifteen published lists, Other Half on eight and TALEA on seven.

Which Park Slope bars post their tap list online?

Fifteen of the bars we checked: Union Hall, High Dive, The Commissioner, Whisk & Whiskey, Gowanus Gardens, Fourth Avenue Pub, LoFi Bar, The Gate, Park Slope Ale House, The Owl Farm, Brewer’s Row, The Dram Shop, Skylark, Barbès and The Double Windsor. Five of them show a date, and four of those were from September 25 to 28.

Can I get gluten-free beer at a Park Slope craft beer bar?

Most craft beer is brewed from barley or wheat, so it is not gluten-free unless it is labeled. Cider is the common alternative: Hudson North is poured at five of the fifteen bars. At The Beer Garage in Park Slope the kitchen is fully gluten-free, so ask which cider or labeled bottle is in.

The verdict

A craft beer bar in Park Slope is easy to find and, for once, easy to check: fifteen bars put their drafts online, and four of them dated the list between September 25 and 28. Fourth Avenue Pub for range, Brewer’s Row for New York State beer, The Owl Farm for the bottles, and Threes and Wild East if you would rather drink it where it was brewed.

We are the one on this page without a list, and we would rather say so. Come to us when the round needs a table of food that nobody has to question, and call ahead if the beer is the whole point.
