Three Brooklyn bars say on their own websites that they have NFL Sunday Ticket. Two more say they carry every sports package without naming it.
Sunday Ticket is the package that shows every out-of-market Sunday afternoon game, the one an Eagles, Bills or Packers fan in Brooklyn needs. There is no public list of the bars that pay for it, so we read the bars’ own websites on October 18, 2026 and wrote down exactly what each one says.
- 26 Brooklyn bar websites read October 18, 2026
- Three name Sunday Ticket in writing
- Sunday hours against 1:00 PM kickoffs
- How bars get the package in 2026
- A fully gluten-free kitchen at 148 5th Avenue, Park Slope
If you follow a team from outside New York, a Sunday in Brooklyn turns into a phone call: does this bar have Sunday Ticket? This guide to bars with NFL Sunday Ticket in Brooklyn answers it from the only place that can, each bar’s own website. Reviews, listicles and old Yelp photos were not counted. Neither was a hunch.
The answer is shorter than you might expect. The Dram Shop in Park Slope, Oceans 8 Billiards on Flatbush Avenue and The Kent Ale House in Williamsburg are the three that put the words in writing. Roebling Sporting Club and Rounders say they carry every major package, and McMahon’s Public House shows the logo without the words. Our own bar is in the table too, and it says nothing either way, so we say so.
The Brooklyn bars whose own websites name NFL Sunday Ticket are The Dram Shop at 339 9th Street in Park Slope, Oceans 8 Billiards at 308 Flatbush Avenue and The Kent Ale House at 51 Kent Avenue in Williamsburg. Roebling Sporting Club in Williamsburg and Rounders in Greenpoint say they carry every major sports package, without using the name.
For a 1:00 PM kickoff, all five are open in time on Sundays. Call ahead for your team’s game anyway, because a bar with one big screen still has to choose.
None of the five bars above describes a gluten-free kitchen. Ours does: every plate at The Beer Garage Park Slope, wings and nachos included, comes from a menu printed under a 100% gluten-free heading. We do not say on our website whether we carry Sunday Ticket, so call 718-576-3409 and name your team before you come for an out-of-market game.
Bars with NFL Sunday Ticket in Brooklyn: who says it in writing
The third column is each bar’s own wording, read on October 18, 2026. Sunday hours are the ones each bar prints. Walks were measured in Google Maps walking mode from our door at 148 5th Avenue; the Williamsburg and Greenpoint bars are listed by neighborhood instead.
| Bar | Where | What its own site says | Sunday hours | From 148 5th Ave |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| The Dram Shop | 339 9th Street, Park Slope | “NFL (Sunday Ticket, MNF, TNF, NFL Network)” among its channels; 8 TVs and a big-screen projector | 11:00 AM to midnight | 19 minutes, 0.8 mile (Oct 7) |
| Oceans 8 Billiards | 308 Flatbush Avenue | “We’ve got Sunday Ticket & NBA League Pass”; 8 HD flat-screens and 30 large TVs | Noon to 1:00 AM | 11 minutes, 0.5 mile (Oct 18) |
| The Kent Ale House | 51 Kent Avenue, Williamsburg | 12 TVs “hooked up to every premium viewing package, including NFL Ticket and MLB Extra Innings” | 9:00 AM to midnight | Williamsburg |
| Roebling Sporting Club | 225 North 8th Street, Williamsburg | “We feature all major sports packages on 14 large HD screens”; names the NFL; Sunday Ticket not named | 9:00 AM to 1:00 AM | Williamsburg |
| Rounders | 999 Manhattan Avenue, Greenpoint | “We have the package for every major sport including NFL”; Sunday Ticket not named | Noon to 2:00 AM | Greenpoint |
| McMahon’s Public House | 39 5th Avenue, by Barclays Center | An NFL Sunday Ticket graphic on its home page, marked “Only on DIRECTV”; the words are not in its text | 11:00 AM to 2:00 AM | 7 minutes, 0.3 mile (Oct 7) |
Three of those six are certain in writing. The two “every package” bars are very likely to have it, since Sunday Ticket is the NFL’s only package for Sunday afternoons, but they do not say the name, so ask. McMahon’s graphic is the old “Only on DIRECTV” artwork from before the package moved, which tells you the bar has shown it, not that it has it this season.
The Dram Shop is also the most detailed: its calendar lists the Sunday games by kickoff time, adds that it has sound for playoff games, and states that it does not show any games on streaming services. Oceans 8 opens at noon with the most screens by its own count, 38 in all, next to its billiards and ping pong tables. The Kent Ale House opens at 9:00 AM on Sundays calls itself home to Arsenal fans and says it opens extra early for soccer.
Sports bars that show the NFL but name no package
Plenty of Brooklyn bars put football on without saying which package they carry. These four say NFL on their own sites, and so do we. If you only need the Giants, the Jets or the national games, any of them will do; for anything else, call first.
| Bar | Where | What its own site says | Sunday hours | From 148 5th Ave |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| The LayUp Bar | 47 5th Avenue, Park Slope | NFL among the events it invites fans to watch, with the Nets, Knicks, Liberty and UFC | Noon to midnight | 6 minutes, 0.3 mile (Oct 18) |
| Uncle Barry’s | 58 5th Avenue, Park Slope | NFL, MLB and NBA “on multiple TVs and a projector screen” | Noon or 3:00 PM to 2:00 AM; its site prints both | 5 minutes, 0.2 mile (Oct 12) |
| Clara’s | 53 Wilson Avenue, Bushwick | “14 TVs + projector screen”; NFL first in its list of sports | Noon to 4:00 AM | Bushwick |
| BK Backyard Bar | 151 Banker Street, Williamsburg | 40-plus TVs and a 20-foot video wall in a 17,000 square foot open-air bar; built around college game days | Not printed on its home page | Williamsburg |
| The Beer Garage | 148 5th Avenue, Park Slope | A full sports line-up; no package named | 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM | Our door |
Two names drop off older lists. Black Horse Pub’s website blocked our visit on October 18, 2026, so we could not read what it says, and the Fulton Ale House address no longer shows the bar’s own site.
How a Brooklyn bar gets Sunday Ticket in 2026
For a few months this year, bar owners were not sure where to buy it. EverPass Media, the company that sells Sunday Ticket to businesses, announced on July 31, 2026 that DIRECTV FOR BUSINESS would distribute it to bars, restaurants and other venues from the 2026 season, by satellite and by streaming. Bars that subscribed for the 2025-26 season renew automatically, according to the same announcement.
So a bar can carry Sunday Ticket either way, and that matters when you read a line like The Dram Shop’s, which says it does not show games on streaming services. The package itself can come by satellite. Thursday Night Football, which streams on Prime Video, is a different question, so ask about Thursdays separately.
Which games it covers, and which it does not
EverPass describes the package as every out-of-market Sunday afternoon regular-season game. In practice that means the 1:00 PM and the 4:05 or 4:25 PM kickoffs that your local CBS and FOX stations are not showing. The Sunday night game, Monday Night Football and Thursday Night Football are separate national broadcasts and are not part of it.
- Giants and Jets fans rarely need it. Our Giants bar in Brooklyn and Jets bar in Brooklyn guides list the teams’ own bar networks.
- Fans of any other team need it most Sundays, and a 1:00 PM kickoff needs a bar that is already open. All six bars in the first table open by noon or earlier on Sundays; we open at 1:00 PM.
- Three games at once is the real test. Ask whether the bar can show yours with sound, not just on a corner screen.
Following one team from out of town
A team bar is the surest bet of all, because it is built around your games. The Dram Shop’s own FAQ names the Green Bay Packers first among its home teams and promises sound for every Packers game, which makes it the Packers bar of this list. Two teams keep official bar finders of their own: the Packers’ Packers Everywhere site and the Buffalo Bills’ Bills Backers network. Search those for Brooklyn before you go, since neither list is printed here, and a bar’s listing can be older than its current plans.
Our Park Slope room, honestly
The Beer Garage Park Slope at 148 5th Avenue is a sports bar in a converted garage, six minutes on foot from the Union St station on the R and a short walk from Barclays Center. On Sundays we open at 1:00 PM and close at 10:00 PM. Our website promises a full sports line-up and does not say whether that includes Sunday Ticket, so this page does not claim it for us.
What we can promise is the kitchen. Every plate is gluten-free, which matters more than usual on a long football Sunday of wings and nachos. If your team plays at 1:00 PM and you want a sure screen, Oceans 8 is eleven minutes away and The Dram Shop nineteen. If you want to eat well during the late game, call us at 718-576-3409 and ask for it by name.
Four picks for four kinds of Sunday
Each pick is judged on what its own website promises.
The Dram Shop, 339 9th Street. Park Slope.
- Best for a fan who wants it in writing: Sunday Ticket on its calendar page, every Sunday game listed by kickoff, 8 TVs and a projector, open from 11:00 AM.
- Skip if you want Thursday Night Football; it says it does not show games on streaming services.
Oceans 8 Billiards, 308 Flatbush Avenue. Eleven minutes from us.
- Best for a group that wants every game at once: Sunday Ticket, 38 screens by its own count, and a billiards room between drives.
- Skip if you want a quiet pub; it calls itself Brooklyn’s number one adult playground, with a billiards room at its heart.
The Kent Ale House, 51 Kent Avenue. Williamsburg.
- Best for an early start: open from 9:00 AM on Sundays with NFL Ticket on 12 TVs and a happy hour on weekdays.
- Skip if you are in Park Slope with a 1:00 PM kickoff; it is across the borough.
The Beer Garage Park Slope, 148 5th Avenue. Our own room.
- Best for the late game with a fully gluten-free kitchen, a short walk from Barclays Center.
- Skip if you need Sunday Ticket guaranteed in writing; we do not publish it, so call first.

A football Sunday can run from a 1:00 PM kickoff to the end of the night game. Every bar on this page serves alcohol, so anyone ordering needs to be 21 with a photo ID, and a long afternoon is a good reason to eat, drink water between rounds and know how you are getting home.
Before you go: five checks
- Read the words, not the logo. Only three bars here name Sunday Ticket in their text. A logo or an old photo is not a promise for this season.
- Name your team on the phone. A bar with Sunday Ticket still chooses which games go on the big screen and which get sound.
- Check the opening time. The first kickoff is at 1:00 PM; London games kick off in the morning.
- Thursday is different. Thursday Night Football streams on Prime Video. A bar that does not stream may not show it.
- Look for your team’s own list. The Packers and the Bills publish bar finders; a team bar is the surest screen for your game.
Find your bar
Pick where you are starting, then what matters most. Each of the sixteen answers names a bar from this page.
1. Where are you starting?
2. What matters most?

McMahon’s Public House, 39 5th Avenue. Open until 2:00 AM every night. Its home page shows the Sunday Ticket logo but not the words, so call for an out-of-market game.
The Beer Garage Park Slope, 148 5th Avenue. A fully gluten-free kitchen from 1:00 PM on Sundays. We do not publish whether we carry Sunday Ticket, so call 718-576-3409 and name your team.
The Kent Ale House, 51 Kent Avenue. Its site says its 12 TVs carry every premium package, including NFL Ticket.
The Kent Ale House, 51 Kent Avenue. Open from 9:00 AM on Sundays. Roebling Sporting Club at 225 North 8th Street also opens at 9:00 AM.

How we checked
On October 18, 2026 we opened the websites of 26 Brooklyn bars, the sports bars in our other Brooklyn guides and the names football guides keep recommending, including pages that only load in a browser, and searched each for Sunday Ticket, NFL Ticket and any mention of sports packages. We copied the wording, the Sunday hours and the address each bar prints. EverPass’s July 31, 2026 announcement is the source for how bars buy the package. Walks were measured in Google Maps walking mode from 148 5th Avenue on the dates in the tables.
It does not confirm what is on any screen on a given Sunday, and it is not based on visits. There is no public list of the bars that subscribe to Sunday Ticket, so a bar that has it but does not say so will be missing here.
No bar paid to appear or asked to be left out. The Beer Garage is ours, as stated above.
148 5th Avenue: football Sundays from 1:00 PM
The Beer Garage Park Slope is at 148 5th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11217, with the entrance on Douglass Street. On Sundays we open at 1:00 PM and close at 10:00 PM; Monday to Thursday 3:00 to 10:00 PM, Friday 2:00 to 11:00 PM and Saturday 1:00 to 11:00 PM.
In Manhattan, The Beer Garage West Village is at 118 Christopher Street, 646-490-4301.
