The Jets name five Brooklyn bars. Three are Giants bars too, and two entries no longer match the bar.
We opened the Jets Bar Network page on newyorkjets.com and then the website behind every Brooklyn address on it. One entry uses a name no bar at that address uses, one prints an address the bar itself does not, and every Jets game left with a date is on a Sunday afternoon.

A Jets bar in Brooklyn is easier to name than to walk into. The team keeps a Bar Network of 82 venues across New Jersey, New York and Connecticut, and five of them carry a Brooklyn address. That sounds like the end of the search. It is the start of it, because a list is only as current as its last edit.
So on October 12, 2026 we read the Jets’ page, then went to the website of whatever bar actually stands at each of the five addresses. We noted hours, screens and anything said about football, and compared the five with the eight bars on the Giants’ own list, which we covered in our guide to a Giants bar in Brooklyn. The Beer Garage at 148 5th Avenue is on neither list, and this page says where it fits anyway.
On October 12, 2026 the Jets Bar Network listed five Brooklyn entries: Kent Ale House at 51 Kent Avenue, Clara’s at 53 Wilson Avenue, “That Bar” at 47 5th Avenue, Ocean’s 8 Billiards at 308 Flatbush Avenue and BK Backyard Bar at 86 North 11th Street. The bar at 47 5th Avenue calls itself The LayUp, and BK Backyard Bar’s own site gives 151 Banker Street. Clara’s stays open latest, to 4:00 AM, and Kent Ale House opens earliest on Sundays, at 9:00 AM.
Three of the five addresses are on the Giants’ list as well. The Beer Garage at 148 5th Avenue is on neither: a sports bar with a fully gluten-free menu, six minutes from 47 5th Avenue, open from 1:00 PM on Sundays, which is when eight of the Jets’ remaining games kick off.
Game-day menus lean on flour: wing dredge, burger rolls, mozzarella sticks, beer cheese. The menu at our Park Slope bar is headed “100% gluten-free”, which means a fan who cannot eat gluten orders from all of it, not from a footnote. None of the five listed bars makes that claim on the pages we read, and we did not test their kitchens.
This applies at 148 5th Avenue in Brooklyn only. The West Village Beer Garage runs an ordinary kitchen. Beer is a separate question, since most of it starts with barley; ask at the bar.

Not one of the five websites prints the word Jets. The four that publish Sunday hours all open by noon, an hour or more before a 1:00 PM kickoff, which is better than the Giants’ list manages. Clara’s is the only one of the five outside Park Slope and Williamsburg; it is in Bushwick.
Two entries that need a second look
“That Bar”, 47 5th Avenue. We could not find a bar of that name with a website at that address. The bar whose own site gives 47 5th Avenue is The LayUp, a sports bar that describes itself as one block from Barclays Center. The Giants’ list prints the same address as “The Layup”. If you walk to 47 5th Avenue for a Jets game, the sign you are looking for says LayUp.
BK Backyard Bar, listed at 86 North 11th Street. The bar’s own site prints 151 Banker Street, Brooklyn, NY 11222, on every page, and takes reservations for parties of four to fifty there. The site also shows no opening hours, and its game-day page lists dates such as “October 18th Saturday”; in 2026, October 18 is a Sunday. Phone 646-374-2662 before you travel for a Sunday game.
Neither of these is a reason to distrust the list. They are reasons to check the door before you go, which is true of every bar list ever printed, ours included.
Three Jets bars that are Giants bars as well
Put the Jets’ five next to the Giants’ eight and three addresses appear twice: 51 Kent Avenue, 308 Flatbush Avenue and 47 5th Avenue. Kent Ale House, Ocean’s 8 and The LayUp are, on paper, home rooms for both New York teams. On most Sundays that is harmless. On four of them it is a seating plan.

On those four afternoons a bar on both lists has two home crowds and, usually, one set of speakers. None of the three says on its site which game gets the sound. Ocean’s 8, with 38 screens by its own count, has the most room to show both. At the others, ask when you sit down.

This is the Jets’ own schedule page, which prints kickoffs in Eastern Time with the channel. The last column is The Beer Garage in Park Slope, from our website footer: on Sundays we are open from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

The pattern is unusual and useful: the Jets have no night game left with a date on it. Eight games start at 1:00 PM and two at 4:05 PM, all on Sundays, all on CBS or FOX. A bar’s closing time hardly matters for this team in 2026; its opening time does.
The two highlighted rows are the 4:05 PM starts, at the Chargers on November 22 and at the Cardinals on December 20. Those are the two Jets games our own bar covers from the first whistle with hours to spare. Holiday hours for late December were not yet on our site when this page was written.
Jets watch parties: New Jersey and Yonkers, not Brooklyn
The Bar Network page promises “special viewing watch parties” in 2026 with “giveaways, raffles for autographed items and game tickets, and appearances from Jets legends and the Jets Launch Crew”. It listed four on October 12, 2026. Three have passed: a Week 3 party in Manhattan, a Week 4 party in Patchogue, on Long Island, and a Week 6 party for the game at New England on October 18, at Blackjack Mulligans in Woodland Park, New Jersey. One is still to come.

No Brooklyn bar hosts one. For a Brooklyn fan the November 22 party is a long trip for a 4:05 PM game, and every bar on this page that prints its hours, ours included, is open well before that kickoff.
Two Park Slope bars that write the word Jets
Being on a team’s list and saying the team’s name are different things, and in Park Slope they belong to different bars.
Uncle Barry’s, 58 5th Avenue, is five minutes and 0.2 mile from our door. Its site names the Jets in a line of nine teams it shows, on “multiple TVs and a projector screen”. Check its Sunday opening by phone: the homepage prints noon in one place and 3:00 PM in another.
The Dram Shop, 339 9th Street, nineteen minutes and 0.8 mile away, writes each Jets game into its weekly calendar by name and has “8 TVs” and a “Big Screen Projector”. Its FAQ is plain about sound, though: the volume goes up for every Green Bay Packers game, and for the Jets only in the playoffs.

What our bar can and cannot do for a Jets fan
The Beer Garage Park Slope, at 148 5th Avenue with its entrance on Douglass Street, is a sports bar that the Jets have not listed and that has never claimed a team. Our homepage promises a full sports line-up. It does not name the NFL, give a number of screens or say when the sound is on, and we will not fill those gaps here. Ring 718-576-3409 on the morning of the game and ask.
What we can say exactly is the clock. Sunday doors are at 1:00 PM. For eight Jets games that is the same minute as the kickoff, so anyone who likes to be settled with a drink before the coin toss should start at The LayUp or Ocean’s 8, both open from noon, and both a short walk away. For the two 4:05 PM games we have been open three hours by kickoff and stay open almost six hours after it.
And the kitchen. A whole table can eat here without anyone reading the menu twice for gluten. That is the reason to choose us over a bar with more screens, and it is the only one we will press.
Which bar for which fan
Four rooms and what each is for, in its own words where it has any.
Clara’s, 53 Wilson Avenue. For wings and a late night.
- Best for a Jets fan in Bushwick: on the team’s list, fourteen TVs and a projector, wings brined for a day, open from noon on Sundays until 4:00 AM.
- Skip if you are starting from Park Slope; it is across the borough.
Ocean’s 8, 308 Flatbush Avenue. For two games at once.
- Best for the four Sundays when the Jets and Giants kick off together: 38 screens by its own count and Sunday Ticket, on both teams’ lists.
- Skip if pool tables and a big room are not your idea of watching football.
Kent Ale House, 51 Kent Avenue. For breakfast before the game.
- Best for Williamsburg and an early table: open from 9:00 AM on Sundays, brunch until 4:00 PM, twelve flat screens with NFL Ticket.
- Skip if a soccer crowd on the same screens would bother you; its site puts soccer and rugby first.

- Best for the 4:05 PM games on November 22 and December 20, and for any Sunday when the food matters more than the pregame.
- Skip if you want a room full of Jets jerseys; we are on no team’s list, and we open at 1:00 PM, not before.
You must be 21 or older to drink in any bar on this page, and each one checks identification. Day games mean a first beer at lunchtime, so eat, drink water between rounds, and leave the car at home.
Before you go: five warnings
The name at 47 5th Avenue is The LayUp. The Jets print “That Bar”. Do not walk past the right door looking for the wrong sign.
BK Backyard Bar’s site gives a different address. The Jets print 86 North 11th Street; the bar prints 151 Banker Street and no hours. Call 646-374-2662.
Three listed bars are on the Giants’ list too. On October 25, November 8 and 29, and January 3, both teams start at 1:00 PM. Ask which game has the sound.
No listed bar’s website mentions the Jets. The link is the team’s page. Uncle Barry’s and The Dram Shop name the team and are on no list.
We open at kickoff, not before. Our Sunday doors are at 1:00 PM. For a pregame, start somewhere that opens at noon.

How we checked
We read the Jets Bar Network page and the Jets’ 2026 schedule page on newyorkjets.com on October 12, 2026 and counted the network’s venues under each state heading: 31 in New Jersey, 46 in New York and 5 in Connecticut. For each Brooklyn entry we then opened the website of the bar at that address and read its home, hours, about, events and menu pages. Where the team’s entry and the bar’s site differ, the table shows both. We re-read the schedule page and the Bar Network page on October 19, 2026: the remaining games, kickoff times, channels and the five Brooklyn entries were unchanged, and one watch party was still to come.
The comparison with the Giants uses the Giants Bar Network and schedule pages read the same day. Walks were timed in Google Maps walking mode from 148 5th Avenue: Ocean’s 8 on October 12, 2026 and the others on September 25, 2026. No bar paid to be included, and we visited none of them for this page.
On nobody’s list, and gluten-free from the first snap

Every remaining game with a date is on a Sunday, per the Jets’ schedule page: eight at 1:00 PM Eastern and two at 4:05 PM, on November 22 and December 20. The games are on CBS or FOX. Week 18 at Buffalo had no date or time.
Can I watch the Jets at The Beer Garage in Park Slope?
We are a sports bar with an entirely gluten-free menu, open on Sundays from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM, which covers every dated Jets game left. We are not on the Jets’ list and publish no screen count or sound policy, so call 718-576-3409 that day.
The verdict
If you searched for a Jets bar in Brooklyn, the team’s answer is five addresses, and four of them hold up when you check the door: Kent Ale House for an early start, Clara’s for wings and a late finish, Ocean’s 8 for screens, and The LayUp at 47 5th Avenue under a name the Jets have not caught up with. The fifth prints a different address on its own site, and no hours.
The Jets’ calendar does the rest of the work. With every dated game on a Sunday afternoon, almost any bar that opens by noon will do, and three of the best candidates also belong to the Giants. Our own bar opens at one and feeds people who cannot eat gluten. That is a narrower offer than a team bar makes, and it is an honest one.
