Employees Only, Dante West Village, Katana Kitten and Little Branch are all within five minutes of us on foot. Our first read of their sites on September 23, 2026 found no priced lists; a fuller read on September 25 found that three of them do publish one, with most cocktails at $15 to $26 and Dante&#8217;s specials running to $90. Ours are still the lowest on the street. We publish ours: seven signature cocktails at $15, eleven classics from $14, eleven spritzes and aperitivi from $10, and a zero-proof list at $10. We are at 118 Christopher Street.<\/div>\n<h2 id=\"published\">What a cocktail bar in the West Village actually publishes<\/h2>\n<p>We spent September 23, 2026 reading the websites of the neighborhood&rsquo;s best-known cocktail rooms, and the pattern looked consistent. A fuller read on September 25 changed it: three of them do publish a priced cocktail list, on menu pages we had not reached the first time. It does mean a priced list is no longer rare on this street; what still sets ours apart is the price itself, $14 to $15 against $15 to $26 for most of theirs, and up to $90 at Dante.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"signatures\">The seven we make ourselves<\/h2>\n<p>These are house builds rather than classics with a twist, and they are the reason to treat us as a cocktail bar in the West Village rather than a beer room that also shakes. Ordering it costs you neither a conversation nor a markup.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you are a group.<\/strong> Four Garage Combos pair a drink with a shot at $18 each &mdash; The Irish Icons, The Mexican Match, The Beer and Deer, and The Full Circle Mary. Shots are $10 across the board, including the green tea, the pickleback, the lemon drop and the Ferrari.<\/p>\n<div class=\"tbg-warn\"><strong>On happy hour, an honest gap.<\/strong> Our happy-hour menu is priced and public: drinks at $8, a well shot at $5, a beer and a shot for $12, and plates at $12. What is not published anywhere, by us or on our Google listing, is the window it runs. Rather than print a guess, call 646-490-4301 and ask, and we will publish the hours here once they are confirmed.<\/div>\n<h2 id=\"district\">The five-minute district<\/h2>\n<p>The thing nobody says plainly about a cocktail bar in the West Village is how tightly packed the good ones are. If a door is closed or the wait is long, the next one is a block away.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"famous\">The famous rooms, and what each one tells you<\/h2>\n<p>Everything below comes from each bar&rsquo;s own website, read September 23 and again September 25, 2026. Where a site does not say something, we have written that rather than filled the gap from a directory.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Employees Only, 510 Hudson Street.<\/strong> One minute from us, 348 feet. Its site gives the address and a phone number, 212-242-3021, and states that reservations are for dinner only. Its reservations page publishes bar hours of 6:00 PM to 4:00 AM daily, outdoor seating from 6:00 to 11:00 PM, and says cocktails are seated strictly as walk-ins. Its cocktail menu is online with prices: classics, modern and dessert drinks at $21, fancy cocktails and the espresso martini at $24, spirit-free drinks at $18.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Katana Kitten, 531 Hudson Street.<\/strong> Three minutes, 0.1 mile. Its own site publishes its hours in full: Sunday 2pm to midnight, Monday to Friday 4pm to 2am, and Saturday 2pm to 2am. Its menu page prices everything: highballs at $19.50, signature cocktails at $20 to $23, a sake spritz at $16 and a non-alcoholic cocktail at $17, with a happy hour tab as well. Contact is info@katanakitten.com or 347-866-7739.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dante West Village, 551 Hudson Street.<\/strong> Five minutes, 0.2 mile. Its West Village location page gives only the address and a reservation form, but its Hours &amp; Location page publishes daily hours of 10:00 AM to midnight, brunch from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on weekends and public holidays, and first come, first served seating for cocktails at the bar. Its West Village menu page links a priced cocktail PDF: signatures from $15 to $23, seasonal drinks at $18 to $26, a caviar martini at $38, a negroni flight at $47 and a $90 vintage negroni, plus a $10 Martini Hour from 3:00 to 5:00 PM daily on selected martinis. The Dante homepage does claim two awards outright: &ldquo;Number 1, Worlds 50 Best Bars 2019&rdquo; and &ldquo;Worlds Best Bar 2019&rdquo;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Little Branch, 20 Seventh Avenue South.<\/strong> Five minutes, 0.2 mile. There is no website to read. That is the whole point of the room, and it is also why no guide can honestly tell you when it opens.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TALEA, 102 Christopher Street.<\/strong> One minute from us, 180 feet, and our closest neighbor by a wide margin. Its own site publishes Monday to Thursday noon to 10pm, Friday and Saturday noon to midnight, and Sunday noon to 10pm, and says it serves &ldquo;beer, wine, cocktails, coffee, and non-alch options&rdquo; with a food list of Bavarian pretzels, salads, toasts, cheese plates, a Mediterranean board and snacks.
