To watch Thanksgiving football in Brooklyn from the first snap, you need a bar that is already pouring at 1:00 PM on a weekday, and on a normal Thursday most of them are not. This guide lines up the three games against the hours each bar puts on its own website, with walking times from our door in Park Slope.<\/p>\n<p>The holiday itself is the catch. A bar can open early, close early or shut for the day on Thanksgiving, and as of October 21, 2026 not one of the 20 sites we read had said which. So read the hours below as the starting point, and call before you leave the table. We have not published a Thanksgiving menu or holiday hours. The Cowboys list their game at 3:30 PM Central, which is 4:30 PM in Brooklyn. Only three rooms near us print a Thursday opening before 1:00 PM, and McMahon&#8217;s is the closest of them, seven minutes from our door and right by the arena. Everyone else opens at 3:00, 4:00 or 5:00 PM, which is fine for the Cowboys and the Bills and too late for the start of the Lions. If the 1:00 PM game is the one your family cares about, that short list is your list.<\/p>\n<p>The Dram Shop has the most to say about its screens: its calendar page lists 8 TVs and a big-screen projector, and promises sound for playoff games. Oceans 8 lists 8 massive HD flat-screens plus 30 large TVs on its events page, alongside its pool tables.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"elsewhere\">Elsewhere in Brooklyn<\/h2>\n<p>Four sports bars further north print their hours too. Roebling Sporting Club describes 14 large HD screens and Clara&#8217;s 14 TVs and a projector.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"holiday\">Thanksgiving hours: what has been posted so far<\/h2>\n<p>Nothing, as of October 21, 2026. We searched each bar&#8217;s home page, and the hours, events, calendar or FAQ page where we found one, for Thanksgiving, and no holiday hours turned up. Three details are worth knowing anyway.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Dram Shop<\/strong> tells you where to look. Its FAQ says special holiday hours go on its Google Business page, that weekday lunch is not served on holidays, and that brunch runs from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on weekends and holidays.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Dram Shop&#8217;s calendar<\/strong> skips the day. It lists Wednesday, November 25 and Friday, November 27, with nothing on Thursday, November 26. That may simply mean the page is not finished, so ask.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Two sites showed us nothing.<\/strong> Black Horse Pub&#8217;s website blocked our visit and Park Slope Ale House&#8217;s page loaded without any text. Kilo Bravo in Williamsburg prints no hours on its page.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We will read these sites again in the week before Thanksgiving and change this page if anything moves.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"eve\">The night before and the day after<\/h2>\n<p>The holiday is wrapped in two more games, both on streaming services rather than broadcast channels.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Wednesday, November 25:<\/strong> Packers at Rams, 8:00 PM ET on Netflix, per the Packers&#8217; own schedule (7:00 PM Central).
